𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 The symbiotic relationship with our environment is sacred and should be treated with reverence. We are constantly consuming information from our environments, it shapes and influences us on fundamental levels and moulds our very soul. The decisions/actions we take direct the path of life we move upon. Being mindful of all the information you consume, for we can choose what information we consume and are influenced by. That mindfulness action is essential to actualise the higher self and become who you want to be. Think what are the attributes of the information what are they communicating ( for example train indicators could be urgency, anger, peace, patience) and what is the nature of it, does it inspire or hinder. Is it right for the direction you want to go in. These are the questions that must be asked. Shape and mould who you want to become think trait influence, we are predictable habitual creatures. Reading, for example, helps us be present in the moment and appreciate time more, setting aside time for that seems counterproductive, but the opposite effect occurs. Set time aside for reading and you gain a new appreciation of time. More often than not with a lot of things pertaining to achieving goals, ’The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.’. |-/ We don't believe what's on TV Because it's what we want to see And what we want, we know we can't believe We have all learned to kill our dreams. | What if my dream does not happen? Would I just change what I've told my friends? Don't wanna know who I would be When I wake up from a dreamer's sleep | I need to know that when I fail you'll still be here 'Cause if you stick around I'll sing you pretty sounds And we'll make money selling your hair | But I don't care what's in your hair I just wanna know what's on your mind I used to say, "I wanna die before I'm old" But because of you I might think twice |-/ Polarize is taking your disguises, Separating them, splitting them up from wrong and right, It's deciding where to die and deciding where to fight, | I wanted to be a better brother, better son, Wanted to be a better adversary to the evil I have done, |-/ I don't know if this song is a surrender or a revel, I don't know if this one is about me or the devil. @twentyonepilots #twentyonepilots #trench #glasgow #polerise #alternativehiphop #electropop #poppunk
Camera Obscura was fun. Deceiving the mind's eye, this lends credence to cosmogonic ideas. 🌀 The optical dissonance polarizing the fabric of the metaphysical and perceived world, warping our earthly vision, transcending in a sudden frisson to possible otherworldly planes strange and infinite. Leading to bizarre notions; do we exist in the physical or non-physical space or both or are all of the parallel realities fractured through every moment we have ever made a decision. A torrent of powers meddling in the deep recesses of our being, pulling us in directions that we are destined. Or a search for nonexistent evidence that there is a higher calling of some grandiose purpose weaved into existence. That is more than our primordial survivalist mortal being. Maybe there is the one we chose.
One mighty lesson so easily forgotten. The quote from Gandalf comes to mind ”It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps because I am afraid, and he gives me courage.”.
Stillness. Moments, where you can find stillness, is vital for your wellbeing. A place where you can just be you reflect and think, without the bombardment of external forms of influence. Most of the time we talk from what’s expected of us, our thoughts are rarely our own. Find the silence and your voice. Find time in the space you create to be mindful. Mindfulness can part the clouds so consciousness can flow. It can flip the mundane banal experiences into more enjoyable conscious and nourishing ones that are filled with joy. Mindfulness for me is not always about good vibes and happiness. It is so deeply contacted with a myriad of emotions from the utmost joy and love to the darkest crippling dread and fear. The framework of mindfulness helps us transform, grow and develop into our fullest potentials. By earnestly looking into ourselves, through the lens of consciousness. Yes, it may take months or years, but the fullest virtuous attributes can be gained. These are not readily taught but modern society. Of true masculinity, true maturity, courage, confidence, patience and love. A journey that spans our life, if utilised it can last beyond. Into the lives of others. Virtues are generally gained from your experiences, but if you're mindful within the moment of immediate experience, you may easily distinguish the significant value. Like a miner mining a vein of some precious metal, you can mine experience for the relevant value. The utility I get out of mindfulness is being ’master and commander of my ship’, my body and mind. Not letting emotions dictate my behaviour, this is integral for men. Another philosophical point of what dictates our actions and decisions, rationality or emotions. Concern the ‘Chariot Allegory’, It is common to think that emotions interfere with rational thinking. It describes the rational mind as the charioteer and the horses as the emotions pulling him/her in multiple directions. Mindfulness helps me take control of the reigns. This brings me into a better state of being which intern helps me think and discern the right decisions/actions for me. #socialanxiety #mindfulness #consciousness
Nebulous. In the quiet bushes a squirrel stirs patient waiting for death, hoping it wont come. • In the silence of the nebulous the scavenger peers. Shifting from shadow to shadow. • In the dimly illuminated hollow a predator waits transfixed to lights for light. #haiku #poem • • • “A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in--what more could he ask? The melancholy and strife that stems from the wrestle with identity can be soulfully exhausting. Learn to wholeheartedly love yourself and accept who you are.
Its energy surrounds us, it binds us, luminous beings are we. Subby is a pathway that some would call unnatural. A long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away, to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was, hmm? What he was what he was doing.
