My favourite peoples..
Here’s to them💪💚
The sheer agony at the 35k mark is still carved deep within my soul. I still tear up thinking of this moment. I am forever grateful to have had my family there to catch me as I hit the wall, hard! No crowds cheering could save me, no Gatorade or gel could supply me with what I needed. It was all up to me, myself and my mind. So I did what I know, put my head down and shuffled to the finish in complete agonising pain. There is no going back to this moment, ever, ever again. I am now officially in Marathon retirement and proud to have gone out on top, finishing with the most epic of them all. 12 not out... 🙏 ✨🏃♀️#runningfortype1 #nycmarathon2018 #winning
