My thoughts with a selfie:
Science demonstrated that we peak at brain processing power at the age of 18, it's funny, because people say we are dumb and lack experience at the age of 18, but it makes sense, we go through academics and we probably overperform in that regards compared to older people
What made me critically think about things regarding life is just how I view the world differently than others, it makes me feel like I'm inadequate when other people older than me consider me dumb for some things, and they are right about specifics but that's just because I'm human, I've seen people do more stupid things than what I considered myself doing. We lack experience, but just because you experienced it doesn't mean you're an expert, and some would handle it better than you even if it was their first time and you had 3 times ahead of it.
Infact, if you got a negative outcome from it that may as well cause you biased thoughts towards it, as some things you experience may not be the same as others, to us "young people" we get to experience not first hand but through media exposure, listening and reading stories about people continuously and what happened to them, etc.
But I can't wrap my head around the 18 years thing, how are our processing power much better than older people? Does that mean an 18 year old doctor can happen? Or a politician given the appropriate circumstances and exposure? Is that why the coming of age for kingdoms long ago relied on the system of 18 because they proved to be good rulers and because of their continues studies since childhood that made them good decision makers?

Definitivamente hoy ha sido uno de esos días agotadoramente productivo, pese a que me costó un poquito más de lo normal levantarme de la cama; desde que me logré parar no he descansado viendo algunos pendientes de la oficina y otros más de la casa (las mudanzas jamás son fáciles pero lo bueno es que ya hay experiencia), a eso sumémosle, el ir de compras en la tarde con mis niñas caninas, una amiga y mi hermana bebé, el ejercicio hecho en el gym y el paseo nocturno de las caniñas, y aún me faltan por editar algunas fotos y redactar un par de propuestas, para el colmo Morfeo ya está anunciando su presencia así que espero terminar lo antes posible para ya al fin dormir como bebé. 😇
