Каждый день, отправляя детей в школу, а потом забирая их, меня не покидает ощущение "киношности", ведь они у меня ездят на желтом школьном автобусе, который все время мелькал в американских фильмах детства😍 А какой водитель у нас👍точно все из тех же фильмов! Интеллигентный мужчина в возрасте с добрыми глазами. Бессменно возит моих мальчишек вот уже 2.5 года. Знает всех детей по именам, на каждый праздник дарит им открытки, сладости ! Завтра у Максима и Стивена последний день в этой школе. Вот такой символичный подарочек мы подарим ему утром. Номер(не номерной знак) нашего автобуса 606, который наклеен у него на лобовом стекле. Поэтому и мы сделали такой же. Максим нарисовал ему открытку и подписал,что мы переезжаем, а завтра их последний день в этой школе, и что будет по нему скучать(сам захотел, от всей души)

I have a confession… When we decided to buy a school bus, I was embarrassed to tell people about it🙈I thought people would think it was crazy and weird. But I got over what other people would think because I was so excited about what this project was going to allow for our future. I was pleasantly surprised when so many people embraced and encouraged what we were setting out to do, and it has been so amazing to see how many other couples and families in the skoolie community that are doing the same thing for similar reasons.
There are still people who give me “the look” when I tell them what we’re doing because they don’t get it. They often say “I could NEVER live in a schoolbus!” Yeah... I thought that way too, until I started thinking about the bigger picture.
Living the bus life is going to make us live a more minimalist lifestyle with less overwhelming clutter of useless “stuff.” It is going to allow us to travel around California and even cross country without having to leave our home and pets behind. Most importantly, it’s going to delete a large portion of our bills, freeing up our income to become debt-free and save money to purchase property in the future.
Chris and I have a very clear vision of the life we want to build for our future children and the legacy we want to leave for them. We so badly want our children to grow up the way we did, running around on property, climbing trees, learning how to take care of animals, and appreciating nature. We want them to grow up with work ethic and respect, not just for other people but for the world they live in.
Our bus is called “The Unexpected Journey” (yes, a Hobbit reference) because this is not something we saw coming in our lives...and it has definitely been a journey, but the journey has only begun!
The build might not be the most exciting part of this journey, but we appreciate your follows. This isn’t about getting attention on social media, but moreso, how wonderful it’s been to have so many people supporting the biggest project of our lives!

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!! Today is literally one of the happiest days of my life!! I just passed ONE & DONE on my CLASS A Commercial Driver's License!! After over 200 hours of training at one of the top schools in my area I finally reached the FINISH LINE!! This has been something I have wanted to do for almost a decade of my life, but never made the time. That all changed after the New Year when I decided to follow my dreams and enroll in school!! I soon discovered that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my future as a tour manager!! I had so much fun in school and I've built life long friendships along the way!! This has been one of the best experiences in my life and one of the most rewarding journeys for me!! I have absorbed so much knowledge from my instructors and they gave me the confidence I needed to totally kill it today under pressure!! I got 84 out of 90 on the Pre-Trip Inspection which is outstanding!! I practiced this faithfully twice a day until the end even after memorizing it the first week. I was determined to be the best truck driver I can be and I was so eager to learn!! Well, it freaking paid off!! Once again this is proof that HARD WORK PAYS OFF!! You can't just wait for your dreams to come true, you have to make them come true!! Now I am OFFICIALLY graduated from Napier Truck Driver Training as a straight A student with every endorsement available!! Best of all, I'm not done yet!! I gotta do it all over again because I decided to go ALL THE WAY!! Next up, I plan to obtain my Class B CDL with the passenger endorsement, eeekkk!! So as soon as I get back in town I'm going to take the whole test over from the start in a school bus!! This is the definition of can't stop, won't stop!! Thank you so much for all of your love and support as I continue to climb the ladder to ULTIMATE SUCCESS!! Watch out world, no telling what I'll do next!! 💪⛟💯🚍💰🚛🙏
