初十三，大多商铺都开工了，集市也热闹起来了, stay turned~ 🎆🎇🎊🎉🎈🎈
Most business are back to trading on the 13th day of the new year~ two more days to the grand closure of spring festival.
Hometown Chengdu series.
This is how I remembered Chinese new year, what were we celebrating, what was fun in my childhood.
Mobile street vendors, back in the days, there wasn't any supermarkets or easy accessed sweets shops, if you want a treat, you need to look out for those folks. They usually carry two buckets, one at the front and one at the back, buckets are tied to a bamboo plank across the shoulder. They walk through wide and narrow alleys, sound tunes with their metal tools that's easily identifiable and attract customers in distance, and most customers are young kids of course. These vendors usually make their food fresh daily, once it's sold, they would return home to prepare next day's batch. They would keep the routine going until they have earned enough cash to eventually open a small restaurant.
Without modern concrete jungle, franchise stores, authentication is the business card of an old city. This can not be replicated. .
