My very special Valentine’s date.
She's here for the PH trade delegation to ensure closer collaboration with #Dubai authorities in enhancing the quality of exports to #UAE as well as to other #GCC countries and neighboring #Africa.
She's conceivably busy, but she pressed on to manage some of her time for me — on a #Valentine's Day.
Straight from work, I met her at her hotel. The moment she walks from the lift towards the lobby, her allure instinctively felt exclaiming the name my family calls me 'Tate!' synchronously wrapping me with a hug.
She started to divulge me how her side forum with the consuls went through and harped on how most of our fellows are living here and is set for ocular checks on Saturday, that's today.
We continued on until she shifted the subject to our family while heading on to our dinner buffet. The only time she would cut our talk is when she'd charmingly greet people/staffs (by their encrypted name on nameplates). Mindful and engaging, that’s how she is.
We filled our first plates together, still in conversation—#family,#life,#travel experiences, plans, current events/issues, (re)solutions, etc. Pondering on how a big clan raised and kept their own families—the struggle, the resilience; on how our parents diligently sent out their children to good schools quite far from our hometown, every single day; to parents who, however they reared their children, shall never be thrown of stones onto them.
She'd carry on the talk. Never a wasted second.
I can joyfully narrate down each but I'd rather keep them by heart and just sum it up on how intellectual and sincere it was. I don't think I can name a person who knows our family's joys and sorrows that much, wholeheartedly, than her.
She had traveled the world wisely with a total experience from public transport to walking herself through a map; never as a tourist. She had raised fine (and good-looking) professionals, too. Truly an epitome of a self-actualized person.
I am humbled to be sharing this personal moment with her—truly made sensible and sweet by her graceful presence and endowed #wisdom.
My Tita Bhembet must be right, she's a rare gem. A second #mother each one in our family can claim.

Rennic has always wanted a Red Ferrari, he’s been working on them since he was 2👨‍🔧🤨🤦🏻‍♂️ I absolutely love my time with my children... however there is something truly unique about your youngest boy. Teaching him about life, relationships, and engaging in activities we both enjoy. Just makes you feel young again...
