Here’s a power clean from tonight. (We could play the “power or nah?” game, but I’ve already made the call on this one—zero chance I’m keeping anything heavier above parallel, though 😂.) When attempting powers, I tend not to punch powerfully enough through the ground with my forefeet during the second pull, and this video reveals me getting behind the bar a tad early. This was a PR attempt, of sorts—I have not powered this weight from the ground in just about a year, and that was when I was exclusively training for weightlifting.
Excited to transition back to it after a May CrossFit comp with @jasonhill3131 !

This is a power up soup! Get your immune system kicking with all the nutrients packed into this powerful soup. With ingredients such as turmeric, garlic, lemon, carrots, parsnip, turnip and fresh herbs this soup is full of anti-oxidants and nourishment that promotes a strong immune system.
Fuel your body with the good stuff ❤️💪🏼 Ingredients:
9 sliced rainbow carrots (keep stems)
3 parsnips sliced
1-2 turnips sliced
1/2 red onion chopped
5 cloves of crushed garlic
1 tsp of grated fresh turmeric
2 tsp of grated fresh ginger
Juice of two lemons
1/4 fresh Cilantro
1/4 fresh Parsley
Pepper
2 tbs Olive oil
5 cups of Bone broth**(about one box)

Directions:
Prepare vegetables. Chop carrots into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Set aside the carrot tops. We will chop these up and add them to the pot later on with the cilantro and parsley.

Chop turnip and parsnip into chunk pieces as well.
Dice half of one red onion.

Add these to a large stock pot with 2 tbs of olive oil. Start cooking over medium heat covered. Add 1/3 cup of water to the pot and continue to cook cover. Stirring frequently.

Add juice from two 🍋 lemons. (Your immune system is stronger just reading this haha)

Add 5 cloves of crushed garlic, 1 tsp of freshly grated turmeric and 2 tsp of grated ginger. Stir the ingredients together.
Continue to cook this together covered over medium low heat for five minutes.

Then add one full carton of bone broth (about 5 cups)

Stir soup. Cook covered over medium low heat 10 minutes.

Add chopped parsley, cilantro, carrot stems and continue to cook covered for another 15 minutes.
