🧡”It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.” -Ernest Hemingway #Repost @toptiergym ・・・ It is with sadness that we announce our General Manager, Emily Suttle will be leaving us to embark on a new journey in California. Although we are sad to see Emily go we are happy for her future managing fitness studios on the West Coast. Emily has worked hard getting our Elevate program off the ground as well as managing our facility. Thank you Em for all you hard work! We wish you the best and the Top Tier community will miss you!
Past few Friday’s has had some snatching and i am loving it! Had an emom starting at 155 and adding 10lbs until failure and made it up to 275. Then failed at 285, then took another swing and made it! Let’s go!! Honestly never thought I’d be snatching this again!! - - @ttt_adam @bambilegs_evan @trainingthinktank @big.poppa.will @k_hende @thebizz13 #trainingthinktank #fitness #crossfit #snatch #masheliteperformance #mashmafia @masheliteperformance
vul·ner·a·bil·i·ty noun the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally. . . My experience with vulnerability is that I use to try to numb it. To hide who I was because I didn't know. I drank, would do things I didn't ever stop to consider whether or not I actually wanted to do and was emotionally closed off. It wasn’t until I started "doing me,” being vulnerable, speaking my truth and expressing my emotions that I was really able to start learning who I am. . . I did so and I started to find others that resonated with me. People who encouraged and supported me to be authentic. People who accepted all the parts of me- even the ones I’m not so proud of. They help me feel confident. They helped me feel good in my skin. They helped me to feel that who I am is more than OK. That who I am is who they love. And that is why I am so adamant about supporting others to be true to themselves now. . . Vulnerability isn't something that you can force upon someone. You can't throw someone who isn't ready to swim into the deep end of a pool and expect them to have fond memories of the water. It is something that people have to be supported in. To know that it's okay. To wade around in the shallow end with their feet on the ground in floaties where they are able to test out the waters comfortably. And, as they gain awareness, familiarity and confidence, then they can work their way up to a cannonball off the diving board. 💦💦💦
Sometimes you gotta do it alone and that’s okay. Shows you what your made of. Can you find it in you to push yourself when no one is around to watch? @big.poppa.will @bambilegs_evan how is this for more content?! Hahaha @ttt_adam @trainingthinktank - - #fitness #trainingthinktank #ttt #crossfit
