Your wedding party should be given a schedule for your wedding day that provides more information than what you've shared with guests but is less detailed than the production schedule for vendors.
Allow me to share three quick basic tips you should know before preparing your wedding day time line for your bridal party:
1. Only provide information that is pertinent to the bridal party. Vendor setup and delivery time is not necessary.
2. Add a detailed hair and makeup schedule. It’s very important that your bridesmaids adhere to the schedule. One person late or MIA can throw your entire day off.
3. Coordinate your timeline with your photographer. You want to make sure you have enough time for pre-bridal shots before you are scheduled to leave for the wedding.
If you have a professional wedding planner, most likely they will take care of this task for you. If not, please seek professional help.
While it may seem like a lot of extra work, trust me the extra work will go a long way in insuring your wedding day runs on schedule.
