The @slamlandia House show this last Friday was so lovely. Fantastic poets, so many feelings, and the lovely home of @bri.gowdy
With warm feelings of gratitude we roll deeper into fall.
Super honored to be a part of a panel at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival on AAPI representation in the arts!
I'm learning so much diving deeper into these conversations.
Thank you OSF and to @melissa.l.magana for connecting us all together.

CAATA Chicago was an incredible week of community immersion, and it would not have been the same without my workshop comrade Chisao Hata @chidance. She's such a vital leader, warrior, and role model whose work grounds me and all who work with her.
I had the privilege of experiencing her very own 🔥Move Back🔥 which gets audiences and actors to non-verbally process a performance they've just seen. Her attention to the energy in the room and guiding it is immaculate. What a wonderful and inclusive way to build community! 🌲☆•°HIRE THIS WOMAN!!!•☆🐉 We got stuck running through a Chicago deluge and enjoyed great Szechuan style food in preparation for our workshop. We revelled in the empowering and forward thinking glory of our greater AAPI community. We saw such cutting edge theatre.
What an excellent experience!
Thank you Chisao!! #caata#grateful#badass#leader#respect#mentor#win#guidance#asianamerican#aapi#community#dance#moveback#dance#theatre
Hello Portland!!! So these two wonderful artists and myself have been turning our poetry to motion, making theatre from words we wrote ourselves!
