And it’s a good question as many contain fillers and additives and generically modified ingredients, not to mention high amounts of sugar and multiple chemicals that you can’t even pronounce! 🙅‍♀️

Now imagine the difference between the codes/frequencies of something you might find straight from the garden in comparison to something that's been manufactured and transported by mass corporations. What is one doing to your body versus the other? What does earth want you to feel and what do companies want you to feel?

We make choices everyday to either eat more of what is deploying the earth or more of what is naturally given from the earth. Equally, what is harmful to the planet... is of course harmful to the individual. Why buy into crap, only to stay prisoners in a loop of ignorance that comes back to bite us in the butt?

Be mindful of what you put inside your body. We've been fed, literally, a whole lot of lies. We've been told what to enjoy and what to crave. There is a fine line between innocent indulgence and brainwashed greed.

Cook your own food from beginning to end. Consciously feed yourselves. The earth and your body will thank you.

Part of our journey as humans is becoming increasingly aware of our energetic field.💫 So much of who we are as beings remains unconscious, unless we do the work to clear and release old pains, traumas and programming.💗 For those who truly desire deep transformation and heart based connectedness, there are many ways to move beyond your limited beliefs and patterns and cleanse your energetic make up by doing what we call "the work".🙏 Essentially its all about taking ownership and responsibility for everything unwanted and suppressed within yourself and learning how to transcend/transmute/release these energies and what no longer serves you.🙌 Much of it is basically unlearning a great deal of “stuff”... and it takes a certain level of courage and commitment, but that courage is only ever one decision away. Once we become aware, we all have the power to shift our vibratory state and change our lives for the better, forever, by looking inside ourselves with openness, curiosity, love and a humble willingness to heal.🌷 It's never as bad as your mind tells you, in fact it's a glorious journey of uncovering divinity until all is revealed and one sees what all is, always was and always will be - LOVE. 💝

We made KALE CUBES!🌱❄️ Has anyone else done this before?? I’m going to start making them more often as a way to get the most out of our greens.🙌

We had some kale that was starting to wilt and I knew we weren’t going to use it in time before it went bad, so we made kale cubes!☺️ You can also do this with spinach, Swiss chard, etc. and it’s super easy to do.👍

Simply chop and throw in the blender with some water. You'll end up with a real mushy paste. Spread it out into an ice cube tray and freeze it!☃️ But you’re probably wonder what to do with them afterwards??🤷‍♀️

You have all been such a supportive and inspiring influence in my life. I’m so grateful for the connections we’ve made and I’m going to miss our discussions and debates and of course our case studies (not!). .
Wrapping up these two years is bitter sweet. This evening I am completing my oral exam, and then writing the final Board Exam in August to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist! A title I will be so proud to hold.

...But first, we eat. 🙊😋🍞🥑 I almost always have an avocado every morning. Either in my smoothie, on @silverhillsbakery sprouted toast, or as a dip with some veggies. Avocados are literally one of the world’s most perfect foods!🙌💗 .
🥑They are easily digested and contain over 25 essential nutrients including iron, copper, magnesium, and essential fatty acids that help the body to function optimally. .

🥑Avocados increase the body’s ability to assimilate nutrients, so they are a wonderful addition to green leafy salads to ensure proper absorption of all the vitamins and minerals. .

🥑They are an excellent source of glutathione, which helps to boost the immune system, strengthen the heart, rebuild the nervous system, and slow the aging process. .

🥑The monounsaturated fats in avocados reverse insulin resistance, which helps to steady blood sugar levels. .

I’m still working on that frog pose! 🐸😅 I use to avoid this pose in my yoga practice, but now I consciously find ways to include it and I’m discovering  more space each time I settle in. 🙏💪 It’s so easy to neglect and avoid the things we struggle with most... but I can assure you there’s a reason why it keeps coming into your life. Some things won’t leave until we learn from them.🙌✨ Today, I challenge you to practice something that you neglect. Or even just acknowledge something you have been avoiding.💫 Move into your areas of discomfort... both on and off your yoga mat! There IS room for growth. I promise. 😘

It’s just wet and refreshing lol so weird to me 🤷‍♀️ I will never understand 🧐🤨 BUT it is still super important for you to stay hydrated so maybe you flavour your water with some fruit pieces or make a detox water like this one! ☺️. .

- blackberries (antioxidants)
- ginger (anti inflammatory).
