This pair is the closest i’ll ever be to the interlocked C’s. This Fury was released on 99’ and it was the retail version of the famous @chanelofficial colorway originally presented to the world on 97’. The main difference between both pairs are the lack of the chanel embroidery on the tongue and the replacement of the crossed C’s on the back for the @reebokclassics vector logo.
In terms of materials, i’m not certain that both models share the same composition, but this are a BEAST, the upper is sublime and it maintains as it was released yesterday!
Late birthday present for @curisaris 💖 This @milkfedjp collaboration from the Fury’s 20th anniversary stands as one of the best reinterpretations of the classic silhouette. Perfect contrast between materials and colors; matte navy suede on the toecap and backtab, plus a feminine micro-camouflage print on the pump bladder. Complete and absolute perfection! We love this kind of cold and sweet color palettes, similar to the X-Girl and StayReal designs! 💖❄️🍭🍬
This “Reebok x Disney Cinderella” must be @curisaris favorite FURY, and we’ve been dodging fake pairs since they came out in 2015, and to this day we can’t find a pair on her size for a not outrageous price. Last month I found myself a pair authenticated on my size and they ended up being absolute perfection in person. The iridescent bladder and the small details such as the clock on the pump and the butterfly on the heel make this one of the best pairs on our collection!
You won’t guess who’s a little bit jealous 👀✨
The Adidas Climacool is one of the few sneaker designs from early 2000’s that really managed to caught my attention. This particular model was a present for @curisaris who’s a massive Coca-Cola supporter ❤️ The sneaker was an special collaboration between Coke - FIFA - and the 3 stripes, to promote the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup. More than 16 years passed and a few months ago we got our hands on this DS pair, which remained on great shape at first glance, but a few minutes after opening the box the Climacool plastic logo on the tongue crumbled in front of our faces 😩 They still look amazing, and I rather have this veteran of the sneaker game on our side of the field than the re-release from 2016, that “unfortunately” lacks the FIFA WorldCup branding on the tongue.
It saddens me to see how the DiscBlaze hasn’t got the recognition it deserves on their own brand.
The connection between the ruthless shapes that construct the exoskeleton along with the smooth details that lay underneath, should be an statement, for both consumers and designers, on how to conceptualize an original statement and confront trends with innovation.
I can’t imagine the expressions on the higher command when the designers first presented the Disc System at @puma HQ.
Hope to see more reintepretatios on the near future, such as this design by @graphersrock to keep minds like this afloat.
Capcom Secret File #3 (1996) - Street Fighter Zero 2. This amazing magazine series included various insights on the development of different Capcom franchises; this issue showed ✨🌸Sakura Kasugano🌸✨ as the cover girl to promote her fighting debut on SFZ2. To promote her first appearance on the franchise the publication presented the conceptual design for the character, along with illustrations depicting her personality, movements and the environment where she developed her unique attitude 🌸✨
Kinu Nishimura is one of the most inspiring artist I have ever seen in my life. Her work at CAPCOM deserves global recognition; the superb shading on her character design, along with their unique and dynamic posses, allows the illustrations to be translated into different mediums, maintaining their original freshness and authenticity.
