Autumn vibes... roast dinners
~Lamb koftas with pine nuts
~whole roasted pumpkin stuffed with pesto and mozzarella ~sweetcorn with butter
~rainbow chard and kale with butter, garlic and lemon juice
~fennel and cherry tomato gratin ~roasted heritage carrots with cumin
~lamb chops marinated in cumin, turmeric and cinnamon ~sweet potato and pumpkin mash
~aubergine rolls filled with herb goats cheese and walnuts served with tahini dressing and pomegranate
Not the most glamorous of photos but tonight after a HUGELY busy day we settled with surf and turf. Fillet steak from @eversfield_organic with buttered greens, mussels with white wine sauce, home made Stilton sauce and onion and red wine gravy (I keep leftover batches of gravy in the freezer for Edward the gravy monster). This morning was golf lessons so I grabbed an upper body workout. Then off to football as Amber had a match, next stop lunchtime- homemade carrot and coriander soup, bacon and black pudding from breakfast. Then off to @nownorthwich for a few hours to see #urbanastronaut before heading up to @chesterrufc to see the 7’s
What. A. Day!
Children have had a great time, eaten me out of house and home and not stopped refuelling since we left for golf!

What is making me happy right now...
Having really shitty #nightterrors recently. I get them about once a week but past three nights I’ve had them. Usually I wake up in a pickle, have a walk about or go for a wee, but when I go back to sleep the nightmare continues from where I’ve left off. It’s so frustrating! Hoping that a double whammy workout tonight will wipe me out. So lovely to see people getting amazing results after years of struggling with injury and inflammation. Remember that the ketogenic diet was something I adopted for health reasons not solely to lose weight. It’s focus is a reduction in inflammation through the avoidance of sugars and grains. Some people choose to not follow a strict ketogenic regime and instead just reduce carbs below 20g a day but for me and many others it is the quality of the grass fed meats, organic produce and free range eggs and omission of added preservatives and additives that really get amazing health results.
