Last weekend was a little of a surreal one. If anyone's following my haphazard stories you could probably tell 🙂
Among other things.. early Saturday morning I found myself at the Booz Allen Hamilton office in DC trying to take a photo of the front desk when the security guard reached his hand up, I'm sorry sir, no photos of this area.
Oh it's ok, he's here with ConsenSys said one of the organizers. Are you here as a mentor? - I could be. I replied back. But today I'm just here to support my team.
I proceeded to take photos, videos, Insta-lives of the Hack the Epedemic process at play, reminiscing that three years ago I would have been here because I knew someone who worked here and they needed great photography or videos. Three years before that I would have been running around as one of these eager eyed students students trying to hack my way at the problems of the world. Last Saturday, I stepped in and I could have been whatever I chose to be.
In truth, I probably chose wrong but the end result wasn't too shabby.
As I was walking out looked at the guard one more time and asked are you sure I can't take a photo of this front desk? Because this everything we embody. Oh yea I'm sorry, I didn't know you work here.
Anyhow dope photos in the bio on what it's like rolling around with Linkedin's #26 best company to work for. It's not always hashtag clean and minimalistic and hastag workfromanywhere in fact it seldom is, but it is hashtag beautiful.
So... when I was scheduling this post last night I was initially going to talk about why I wasn't going to get the Pixel 3, in fact this was so long I put it into an #IgTV session 📺 check it out 🙈
Anyhow the bottom line is.. and was: ➖It's just the same phone as last year with upgraded features.
But then I was watching the live stream and I don't know.. more and more I'm kind of buying into Google's vision of the future of (some) of our devices. ➕The whole un-intrusive aspect of where A.I. plays in our lives, built on years and years of data collection and analyzing is fascinating to me.
What do you think? This me at my best so I'm legitly interested in hearing people's thoughts on this.
How does this compare to the Apple announcement? Who's still waiting on @OnePlus. Who's gonna sit round one out all together?
