If spice isn't your thing, you can leave the hot sauce out and this dish is still delicious & full of plant based protein and healthy fats πŸ˜‹πŸ₯‘ Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

Breakfast this morning is my favorite avo toast with a kick! 
This creamy garlic red pepper hot sauce from @davesgourmetinc is a dream! Let me start by saying that I cannot handle too much heat but this sauce has just the right amount of spice for me. I decided to pour a bit on my plate and dip the toast in as I ate. It was perfect πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
I can't wait to try this on tacos and also enjoy some other flavors they offer (creamy citrus ginger and creamy roasted jalapeΓ±o). Anticipate some recipes in the near future πŸ˜‹

Thursdays are a long day for me. I am at work from about 9 AM - 8 PM so it's incredibly important that I pack foods to keep me going all day long. .

Today I have a leftover veggie quesadilla {onion + bell pepper + black beans + corn + spices} and a salad {arugula + spinach + sesame seeds + sunflower seeds + tahini dressing}. I also tend to store snacks at the office such as protein bars or a couple pieces of fruit. .

Being prepared and planning meals ahead was one of my 2018 goals. I haven't always been successful but when I'm prepared it really helps me stay on budget and I get to have a meal at work that I know I'll enjoy πŸ’•

Hi everyone! I've been gone the past few days due to NYCC and a cold that I am still fighting off πŸ€’
I don't get sick too often but I do notice a pattern -- I am usually unable to fight off a cold when I am stressed and not getting enough sleep. This past weekend (while incredibly fun) was not big on sleep and therefore my immune system suffered a bit. Over the next few days I'll just be sure to drink lots of liquids, get to sleep early, watch plenty of halloween movies in bed πŸŽƒ, and nourish myself with lots of light and tasty meals (I really lose my appetite when I'm sick). Hope you are all well πŸ’•
