This fascinating architecture are part of the ancient Anasazi. They built large stone structures, some had multiple stories and hundreds of rooms to house their communities and you can experience them at the Manitou Cliff Dwellings
The Pueblo style houses are traditionally made of adobe, heavy doors, ceiling beams and porch posts form part of regional architecture. This type of houses are primarily found in New Mexico and Arizona, but also Colorado.
