By: @switch4good - Cow’s Milk is not a health food - it’s a marketing campaign and it’s making people sick.
In 2017 alone, the USDA oversaw more than $125 million of domestic marketing to sell the idea that dairy is a health food.
The #Switch4Good athletes are coming together to fight this public health crisis that affects 65% of the world population with allergies, intolerances, and sensitivities.
Join us and help build a dairy free future. For more information on the dangers of dairy, click the link in our bio.

By: @joyfulvegan The question isn't "where do vegans get their nutrients?" The question is "why have we all been taught we need to go through an animal to get to the nutrients that the animals get because the animals eat plants?" You don't need a degree in nutrition to understand that the nutrients we need are plant-based — not animal-based (except for B-12, which is produced by bacteria, not animals or plants). *
We need to skip the middle animal, and when we do, we skip the harmful animal protein, saturated fat, dietary cholesterol, and lactose. When we go directly to the plants (like the herbivorous animals we eat!), we get the vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, antioxidants, folate, fiber –— all of which originate in (...wait for it...) PLANTS!
"Don't do nothing because you can't do something. Do something. Anything." ~Colleen Patrick-Goudreau (JoyfulVegan.com) *
By: @anneeversfraser We are destroying the planet and if we don’t do something about it soon, we’re f**ked. Excuse my language, but we are. The UN just came out with a report saying that if we don’t drastically cut our carbon emissions in the next decade, then by 2040 worsening food shortages and wildfires, and a mass die-off of coral reefs will be our new reality. WE MUST ACT NOW. I won’t be here to see 2040 but my granddaughter will and her children and grandchildren. They deserve a healthy and habitable planet as do all of our future generations.
I know this task seems overwhelming and unattainable, especially with our current administration of climate change deniers and science skeptics but every single one of us can make an impact by changing what is on our plate. Avoiding meat and dairy is THE SINGLE BIGGEST WAY to reduce your impact on Earth. #govegan 💚🌱🌏 #bethechange#govegan#animalrights#changingtheworld#climatechange#maketheworldabetterplace#ethicaleating#geteducated#truthaboutmeat
