When we start a project we always have high expectations. Unfortunately in this business things never go as smoothly as planned. There're always bumps on the road.
Keeping it cool and being able to FINISH a deal we started it's one of the biggest challenges, as you all know, contractors are known for walking away from jobs when things get tough. We don't! We've been in situations where we took the loss, but kept our word and finished the job. It's hard!
If you have a good contractor be thankful!
This beauty is located in Fishtown and will be hitting the market this weekend. I put lots of love into it. .
When I started design school, this was the 1st space that I changed in my house. It used to be our home office but we needed a space for the boys to play in.
Our budget was tight so I had to play safe. - Walls were painted in 2 shades of blue
- Used a reclaimed table, painted the base red but left table top raw so it could become our little artists screen
- DIY the chalk board by painting the rectangle and adding the frame
- Book shelves, rug and chairs are from @ikeausa
I spent under $300 for the entire room!
I just never imagined how much use this little room would get! They even do homework there! 😊😊😊
