It’s Black Coffee Day today at Trader!
Poor Betty (the coffee machine) is having a rest, which means no creamy textured milk drinks today!
But we can still do tea, juice and black coffees on the Aeropress and Filter.
Last year the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) an Australian based group was awarded the Noble Peace Prize due to its work to create the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. On Monday evening some of this group will be in Yass (with the Noble Peace Medal) to discuss their work and what still needs to done. There will be a pot luck dinner at Trader from 6.30pm where you can hear about their work. Please bring a plate to share. All Welcome.
It’s already kicking off here at Trader. Regulars trying to work in the hum of the Roastery, customers indulging in delicious food and just a casual harp player... just a normal Friday!
We are hosting the poets dinner tonight and live music all weekend ; booked in acts + session space + chalkboard venue. Bring the Craic!
And we are BYO so bring that too!

All is getting Irish here in Yass. Toni and Soph delivered a bunch of @keepcup coffees to the volunteer crew bringing the Craic to town. The cups will be re-used around town all weekend whilst the crew keep themselves caffeinated.
We’re all painting the town green this weekend ☘️ ☘️ 🇮🇪 #livemusic#yassvalley#lesswaste
Happy to be in our pj’s today. A) because it’s drizzly and cold in yass but mainly B) raising money for our local CanAssist Branch who help families in the #yassvalley living with cancer. Donation bucket in store if you want to fine yourself for not wearing pyjamas!!! #community#volunteersrock#cancersux
