Over the past few years I have worked hard on my flexibility...I never used to be able to touch my toes and have very tight hamstrings like the majority of the population. But regular Pilates, involving both stretching and strengthening my muscles has done wonders! I’ll never be a gymnast but I’m more than happy with my progress 😊 Are you inflexible and suffer from tight, aching muscles? Stability and balance: two of the most fundamental aspects of Pilates and things that I focus on in all my classes and lessons. And comments like this one are the reason why I do it!! So fantastic to hear when someone feels stronger as a result. Thanks Ann! ❤️
Even though the studio is about 1000 degrees at the moment (fear not though, I have the mother of all fans keeping clients cool 😎), my Saturday morning regulars worked so hard this week. Here is Polly doing Back Support - challenges the shoulders, core stability and pretty much every muscle! Awesome job Polly! ❤️
Throwback...single leg hip work on the Cadi with the lovely Polly last week. My all-time favourite exercise! I love how working unilaterally shows you the imbalances in your body and what you need to work on. Hip work also feels AMAZING!!! ❤️
