Regrann from @barcsanimal_shelter - Who's going to want an old dog like Eustace? Who's going to fall in love with a grumbly old man who's best friend is a stuffed toy ducky? One who doesn't like kitties, isn't too interested in other dogs, and prefers a nap over a walk? Who's going to love a dog that is a little stiff, a little stubborn, always smells like Fritos and might demand a bite of the pepperoni pizza in your hand? Who's going to give Eustace a chance after being a shelter dog for nearly four months? The best kind of person, that's who. An angel with a huge heart for graying faces.
10-year-old Eustace was picked up by Animal Control after not being cared for. He had a long list of medical needs that had gone untreated for far too long. We've since taken care of his medical needs and while he's feeling much better, he's getting grayer with each passing day as he waits for a family.
Seniors are the hardest animals to get adopted from shelters. It's hard for people to take a senior wondering just how much time they will have with them. But that's exactly why you should consider a senior. Because more than anything they are the ones that deserve a second chance and a final forever home.
We know that our BARCS supporters are the most compassionate, selfless people on the planet, which is why we are asking you to help us find Eustace an adopter. So this sweet ducky-loving, jelly roll of a dog can finally have a place to call home.
Eustace's adoption fee is waived thanks to our Love Lasts Forever Program, supported by donations which help send senior pets home.
If you think that you would be able to give Eustace a loving home please email mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org with a completed adoption application. Once your adoption application has been approved you will be able to set up a time to meet him. * Adoption applications can be found under the adoption tab at barcs.org/adopt - #regrann

1-844-ARATANA (272-8262) Be polite but be firm on behalf of all cats, call Aratana and remind them that they are known for relieving pain and should not be involved in creating it. Ask them to use a surgery like Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) that actually helps injured cats instead of using declawing, a surgery that is wholly unnecessary and has the potential to cause a lifetime of pain to healthy cats. They use a surgery dogs need to test their pain meds and yet they use a surgery cats certainly don’t need to test their pain meds. #unfair Aratana.com. #stopdeclawing#pawproject - #regrann
