Your body is a Temple. You are what you eat. 🌱 Do not eat processed food, junk foods, filth, or disease carrying food, animals, or rodents. Some people say of these foods, 'well, it tastes good'. 🙅🏼♀️
Most of the foods today that statically cause sickness, cancer, and disease ALL TATSE GOOD; it's well seasoned and prepared poison.
THIS IS WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SICK; mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually; because of being hooked to the 'taste' of poison, instead of being hooked on the truth and to real foods that heal and provide you with good health and wellness.☮️🥦🥑 Respect and honor your Temple- and it will honor you. 🧘🏻♂️🙏🏻
Home grown lemons 🍋🧘🏻♂️❤️ Those who may be iron deficient listen up: Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutrient deficiencies in developed countries and a leading cause of anemia.
Pairing foods that are high in vitamin C with foods that are iron-rich maximizes the body's ability to absorb iron.
Spinach and chickpeas, for example, are good sources of iron. Squeezing a little lemon juice atop a salad with these ingredients can help maximize the intake of iron as well as vitamin C. 🙏🏻 isn’t nature amazing! #sydneyvegans#veganlife#naturalhealth#vegan#veganfood#lemon#lemonbenefits#nature
My weekly market haul! As a kid I didn’t enjoy the markets at all...Mum used to try and drag me along! @catherinejglover thanks for educating me about the markets even though it was a tough job!! The markets are so overwhelmingly amazing! People yelling out, people singing opera, hustling restaurant owners, bulk buying vegans (me) and just people wanting to take photos of the market culture! I now love the markets!! Fresh fruit and veggies that can last weeks! My favs at the moment are avocado, soursop and papaya!! So delicious and so much more affordable!! The markets are great because you can buy in bulk and share the love of nourishing plant wholefoods to your friends and family and it won’t cost a fortune 🥦🌱🍍🥑 one statement and ideal about health that has been lost over the years is that food isn’t just calories food is information that talks with your DNA and tells you body how to function! Stop thinking all food is the same based on a caloric value (which is popular amongst fitness influencers) and stop thinking that regardless of what you eat as long as you’ve counted your macronutrients correctly you’re going to be amazing! Yes a caloric controlled diet will help you achieve your goals but look deeper and think what it’s doing to your insides; your gut, your colon, your liver, your heart, and how it could be impacting your mental health! Food is more than a tool to help your fitness goals - food is how, we as animals, survive, so we need to be nourish our bodies and making sure we’re treating our insides like a temple and a amazing functioning machine. I mean, you get phone cases, laptop cases, you wash your car and service it and probably put good quality fuel in it if it requires it. But at the end of the day if those items break well you just get a new one. So why treat your body worse than object that mean a lot to you and you can’t even get a new one! Starting disregarding what these fitness "gurus" about getting shredded and jacked up are saying and start thinking how you can better yourself through how you eat!! If you have any questions please ask!! #sydneyvegans#veganlife#naturalhealth#vegan#veganfood#markets#wholefood#vegetables
