Raising a ruckus at @billysundaychicago whilst on vacation. Decided to switch off barley and switch on agave with "Keep off the Grass." It provides a nice, floral front with a wonderfully herbaceous finish. Presentation needs no description, lol.
Decided to just fiddle around with new approaches today and test out some samples from @delmagueymezcal and some @thebittertruthcompany products from home. I went a little crazy with the @angosturahouse but it's purty so who cares?
Pinche del Maguey
2.0 oz. Vida del Maguey Mezcal
0.75 oz Blackberry jalapeño syrup (DM me for portions. It's very good)
0.25 lime juice
0.5 lemon juice
1 dash of orange bitters
1 dash of grapefruit bitters
1 egg white
Reverse dry shake. Serve up in a rocks glass. Garnish to taste. Cheers!
