Its a bagel + red pepper kind of day 🌶💯 One time i was trying to eat Real healthy, back when I was still learning how to change my diet. I was eating a bagel sandwich with tons of veggies (spinach, peppers, cucumber, etc... Our habits do 1 of 2 things: they either help us get to where we want to go or they hold us back. Recently, I made a list of my bad habits and wrote down alternative things I could be doing instead. One of those was going on walks after dinner instead of turning on the TV. It’s made the biggest difference in how I feel! Esp after stuffing my face w these black bean and squash tostadas 😍💃🏻 so YUM!
I got 99 problems but green juice solved like 86 of them. 🔥 this one has kale, celery, apple, & pear! 💯 I wanna say I made this myself, but ya girl bought it fresh at @sprouts bc #nobodygottimeforthat 🤷♀️ I used to make all my juices fresh at home, but lately I have had to just get them premade when I remember to. The goal is progress, not perfection. 👌🏻
How to make sure you’re gna have a great day: 1. take your breakfast 2. take some nut butter 3. spread it on thiqqqqqq 👌🏻 Don’t overthink it, just do. 🤪 I’m the type of person that overthinks hard. Like once a day, I’ll look for my phone while it’s in my actual hand. 🙈 And then when I realize it, I start to overthink my overthinking! 🤯 😂One thing that’s helped me is just learning how to take the pressure off. When I stop trying to be “perfect” or pretending like I know what I’m doing, that’s when I can relax and therefore enjoy whatever it is I’m doing a lot more. 💃🏻☀️
Personal growth comes when you stop listening to everyone else and you start listening to YoU. Took my own advice, and spent the last 30 days off this IG to renew, relax, and recharge. 💪🏻Meaning: me & netflix got realll close. 😂 Feeling more juiced up than ever & now it’s time to get to werk. of course I’m brining food! -65 lbs feels great! 🙌🏻👏🏻 But honestly, feeling comfortable in my own body feels BETTER. I still have curves, and stretch marks, and also a muffin top (I will never give up my skinny jeans!) But for the first time in the history of ever, I’m not trying to hide it or be ashamed of it. It doesn’t matter if you weigh 120 lbs or 200 lbs, feeling free in your body takes acceptance + self love. Trust me, if I can do it.. YOU can too. So while I may not be perfect by societal standards, I’m perfect for me. and thats freedom. 💜

I went to the dentist yesterday for the first time in 7 years! No broken mirrors here, I’m just absolutely terrified of the dentist! 😬 I wore braces for 6 years and I think that is what contributed to my anxiety/fear….but I’m stoked to say the hygienist couldn’t even tell that I hadn’t had a cleaning in so long. The dentist even gave me a fist bump 👊🏻(we’re basically besties now). The best part is that I keep my oral hygiene ALL NATURAL, with 1) a tongue scraper, 2) @desert_essence neem toothpaste, and 3) a drop of @doterra OnGuard essential oil on my dental floss! Keeps my gums and pearly whites nice & healthy 👍🏻

Island vibes like☀️ I may not live in Hawaii, and my papaya may be the small kind..... but I’m still just gna pretend I’m @tessajean and rock this papaya boat like I don’t live in the middle of the desert 🙈🤙🏻 This breakfast taste straight up like sunshine! I topped half a papaya with orange juice, mango, bluebs, granola, and sunflower butter! .

Not pictured: the excessive amount of coconut aminos I dumped allll over this after taking this picture 😍 We love hibachi but one: its expensive, and two: I always feel sick after eating at the restaurant bc of all the salt, butter, and they always give wayy too much. Making it at home tastes way better, is cheaper (this meal costs us about $20) and can also be better for you. 👌🏻 I like to swap ghee for butter, coconut aminos for soy sauce, and make wayy more veggies than rice. 🙌🏻🔥 whats your favorite healthy swap??

Another day another smoothie. AKA trying to use as many ingredients to make vegetables taste good 🤣 plus that color though 😍 inspired by @balancingandie to try frozen beets in a smoothie bc #nutrients . Beets are high in iron, great for cleansing the blood, and are super healing for the colon- especially in women! I just got frozen sliced beets and put them into the blender raw 👌🏻 💥
Sweet potato nachos FTW 🧡 Slice a sweet potato into thin “chips” and roast them at 425 for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. THEN put them under the broiler for a couple minutes to really crisp them up. Can’t leave them naked 🤷♀️ so top them with your favorite nacho toppings: ground turkey, cilantro, red pepper, cheese, micro greens and go to town. 💃🏻🕺

Obsessed with these vegan carmel coconut butter cups. 😍 mainly bc they taste like heaven and you only need 3 ingredients to make them! .
✨ date carmel (soak 20 dates for an hour, then blend them with 1/4 cup water and a splash of vanilla)
✨ melted coconut butter
✨ melted vegan chocolate
⭐️ Layer a tablespoon of melted chocolate in the bottom of 12 cupcake liners. Freeze for 5 minutes, then layer the melted coconut butter and freeze again for 5 more minutes. Last, put a thin layer of date carmel and top with the leftover melted chocolate!
