If your Pilates class was easy...it wasnโ€™t us ๐Ÿ˜‰ One of our clients recently told us that they had been trying different studios and workouts, but werenโ€™t seeing any results. It wasnโ€™t until they started coming to our classes regularly and keeping a tight schedule that they noticed a dramatic change! We wanted to share this because consistency is key ๐Ÿ”‘ Seeing results goes hand in hand with muscle maintenance and repetition to prevent any imbalances. As a full body workout, Pilates is great because it targets many different muscle groups with different combinations and levels of intensity. As a result oriented studio, we stress the importance of implementing a balance routine (donuts included ๐Ÿฉ) to strengthen and tone properly. one could say we tried switching it up for the photoโ€ฆ ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ yesterday we checked out @the100spilates for the first time and had such a great experience. the moves were very unique + challenging (which was extremely humbling, btw ...dare we say it made us feel like beginners?) it required a ton of focus to try moves we've never done and when we walked out of there, we both agreed that it was REALLY TOUGH. we were impressed.

next โ€” we have to talk about the vibes. even though it was our first time, the instructor (+ owner) @iamlecall made us feel as though we've been going there for years. you can tell the people who frequent this spot are like almost like a little pilates family. every move done right was praised by the instructor, but she also had no problem calling us out + correcting us, which we loved (+ it happened a lot, she was incredibly attentive! ) not to mention we spent half the class laughing bc she was one of the wittiest instructors weโ€™ve ever met - we loved that bc like why so serious all the time, pilates?! we really enjoy discovering ALL the very different pilates studios in NYC. every time we try a new one weโ€™re floored (in a good way) by the new moves and methods. weโ€™d love to hear any youโ€™d like us to check out ... weโ€™ll report back! xx #sssssweats
