I’ve got some VERY exciting stuff in the pipeline and everything has been moving so fast that the universe took the liberty of making me sick the last week so I could stay at home and spend some quality time with my numero uno 💜 grateful for you 24/7/365 my little babe

I get asked often how many times a week I train. I get told even MORE often ‘oh you only look like that because you own a gym’ .
.
If you want to know the truth, I only train 3 times a week consistently, and rarely but still sometime 4/5 times a week 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Looking and feeling healthy has little to do with how many times you show up to the gym and much more to do with how you spend the other 95% of your time...
.
Don’t get me wrong, when I DO train I go hard! But that’s because I love the feeling I get when I absolutely smash a session ✨.

People don’t realise but there are SO many more factors that contribute to your health and physical appearance (not just body fat, but clear skin, ageing etc)  that just how often you exercise.

When was the last time you looked at the quality of your food, the amount of water you’re consuming, your quality of sleep, your stress levels, your environment?.
.
The outside won’t stay if the inside doesn’t change too...

I know I was, and even now when I feel I have my ducks in a row, I still sometimes find myself comparing my behind the scenes with someone elses highlight reel. Its the most cliche' saying, but there has never been more truth to it! 'Dont compare your chapter 1 to someone elses chapter 20'. .
.
The way i interepret this message is that you have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. you dont know what the people you look up to had to go through to get where they are. Respect your own journey! Take one step forward every day, and after a year you will be 365 days ahead of where you are now. Get excited about that!

Now I don’t know about you, but as much as I love a good weights session, I workout primarily for my mental health. Because movement energises me🌻

Even if it’s going for a walk, or doing some stretches in your body, motion creates emotion so it will all do you some good ✨
