Continuing on with the Siesta job. Prepped the villa and pumped a few days later. The whole job took about 4 days in order to lift a sigging side and stabilize the whole unit. #SWPG #pressuregrouting #Siesta #stabilization #lift #Florida #cement #hardwork
Friday in Florida at the North Port 7-Eleven. "Just another day at the office," as they say. The Aloha Spirit (without the Aloha): No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem because we're here for the beer!

The sandy soils on the island move and shift with time. In this case, the left side of this cottage was in need of some hydraulic concrete slurry to help stabilize and lift it back in place before the remodel was to be completed. The cracking of walls, floors, and ceilings can happen before we start or be a result of us slowly lifting and releasing pressure that has been building over decades. #SWPG #pressuregrouting #lift #stabilize #SiestaKey #foundation #Florida

Settling cracks and slopping slabs from years of being on Siesta Key which isn't bad considering the property is over 40 years old. Definitely not out of the ordinary but an issue that needed to be fixed before remodeling work was performed. #SWPG #pressuregrouting. #cracks #slab #foundation #SiestaKey #condo #stabilization #lift
Final product. It's not perfect, but it's as close as you can get with the amount offset and severity of cracks on this slab. The owners were very happy.

Massive voids under this area which were most likely due to organic matter buried years ago. #SWPG #pressuregrouting #Venice #Florida #pooldeck #stabilize #lift #soil #foundation #repair
Finding the voids that caused the slab to settle and crack. #SWPG #pooldeck #pressuregrouting #stabilize #lift #foundation #soil #Venice #Florida #work
A pool deck with extensive settling issues. Most likely organic matter due to the amount of material we pumped. Nevertheless, flowerpots impeded in a slab may look nice but the extra water has to flow somewhere. Over time, that only compounds settling issues. #SWPG #pressuregrouting #pooldeck #settling #organicmatter #soil #lift #stabilize
Same section of the slab, opposite ends of the room. And the scale shows lift.

After shots: A lot of movement as this poorly compacted soil tightened back up and the slab was lifted back into its original position. Close to an inch of lift in this room. #SWPG #pressuregrouting #slab #foundation #soil #stabilization #condos #lift #Florida #Naples
Before pictures: The settled slab just prior to lifting. The tape on the floorboards helps us monitor the amount of lift. #SWPG #pressuregrouting #lift #soil #compaction #Naples
Poor compaction under a floating slab near the exterior stem wall. The parking garage was something to see on these high-end condos in Naples. Three units = lots of work #SWPG #pressuregrouting #Naples #foundation #slab" #concrete "stabilization #lift
Cracks can open and others close as we stabilize the soil. This once closed up and pressed out the old patchwork. #SWPG #voids #settling #cracks #drywall
