🚧 Current physique!! 🚧 I have to be honest, I have had the most inconsistent year when it has come to my training and diet. My body has gone through a lot this year, from being diagnosed with IBS/endometriosis and having constant flare ups, to having my surgery, to changing my contraception, to dropping a ton of weight, then to putting double the amount back on 😣. So right now I am feeling hella thicc! In ways I like it, but I’m ngl I really do miss my physique and mind set from this time last year. After my surgery in September, I decided to leave my previous job, as yes I was making good money, but it was making me unhappy. I started to feel unmotivated, anxious, exhausted and I felt as though I was losing my love for fitness. As mentioned, I have just started working in one of my favourite gyms and I feel that I’m starting to fall in love with fitness all over again!! The fact that I can easily train everyday in the waviest facility, with world class personal trainers is a blessing 😍😍!! My goals is to; strengthen my compound lifts, build a stronger foundation (more muscle), properly learn Olympic weightlifting (which btw is hella fun) and post more workouts / meal prep ideas with ya’s!! I’m ready to take on a new journey - Shadee 2.0 officially under construction πŸ”¨ πŸ”¨πŸ”¨

⚑️ Gained 6kg in 6 weeks, but where’s it all gone? πŸ€”. When I stood on the scale yesterday I was so shocked at how much weight I put on in such a short amount of time. But tbh, I’m okay with it!! My weight has always fluctuated, but even more so since having my operation, getting the mirena coil (big side effect is weight gain) and going to LA! Big lesson is never focus on the numbers on the scale and base your progress off how you feel, fit in clothes, improved in training, etc... otherwise the scales will just torment you! ALSO, big up @ariannadantone on the #gainingweightiscool movement, cause that is FACTS πŸ€“βœŒπŸΌβš‘οΈ

Back from LA and missing my home away from home @zooculture. Training there was an incredible experience and probably the best gym I’ve ever been to!! Here is a likkle clip from chest day, face says it all at the end πŸ˜‡. .
I’ve said this many times, but ladies it’s sooooo very important not to neglect your chest in your training programme. .
βœ”οΈ Chest exercises lift your boobies higher making them perky, which prevents breasts from sagging (I barely wear bras anymore πŸ™ƒ) .
βœ”οΈChest exercises enhance pectoral muscles that lie at the base of your chest - resulting in higher and larger looking boobies, improving their shape. .
βœ”οΈ Chest exercises also benefit toning and strengthening the muscles in your arms and upper back, as most chest exercises also work on your triceps, biceps and deltoids. πŸ’˜

En route to slowly getting myself back into a consistent training routine 5 weeks post op. I can’t front I’ve lost a lot of self confidence due to not training, I feel like I’m losing my shape and getting hella fluffy (maybe cause I’m eating like a whale). Anyhow I know the comeback will be strong, I’m determined to make it happen πŸ‘ŠπŸ½. Had fun deadlifting for the first time since my op today, failing miserably to keep up with @bradleymartyn πŸ˜…. #zooculture

I know I haven’t been posting much recently, I have been recovering from my surgery and now I’m recovering from a nasty flu πŸ€’... so I haven’t trained in 3-4 weeks, which is pain!! 😭

🌱 Over the past couple of years I have been suffering really badly with IBS and endometriosis symptoms on a daily basis. I decided to try a plant-based diet to aid my recovery from my op, as I’ve researched that this is the best diet for anyone who has IBS / endo / auto-immune diseases. It’s been 20 days and I can’t tell you how much better I feel, how much better my digestion/inflammation is, how much more energy I have, how much better my skin is, how much better my mood is, not to mention I have lost 3.5kg and I haven’t even been training!! I’m not gonna say I’m never going to eat animal products again, but I’m good with living a predominant plant-based and healthy, happy life πŸ˜ŒπŸ’• #babesofmissguided
