Bodice ✅ and it fits my dress form 👌 ... haven’t tried it on though... yet 🙄 ... 🤞 ... I am trying this thing in which I fit on paper, by numbers, before cutting... if the pattern doesn’t have huge issues or it was intended for a very different body type, it should fit pretty decently my dress form and with maybe minor adjustments me. The idea is that I usually #sew in the evenings after a full day’s work (mostly in front of a computer) so my #posture is at its worst. Compulsively putting it on and taking it off to #fit stuff that’s mostly caused by a bad/relaxed posture it’s a waste of time. I want my #clothes to fit that version of myself which confidently enters a room while everyone is watching not the, call it tired, call it relaxed, dinner digesting, slouching me. That’s precisely why I don’t agree with adhesive tape body-doubles!

Goodbye dear old friend
You were the most headstrong willful little doggie, but in that sausage shaped body a big big lion heart was beating. You accompanied my journey for 18 happy years. Thank you. I miss you so much.
I love you,
My brand new, just made, hazmat shirt 😬 ... I mean #tyvek shirt and feeling very Margiela wearing it paired with the #morganjeans 😂 ... I didn’t know how this would feel on me and I must say it’s not bad! Feels weird but kinda good weird. It’s supposed to be breathable and waterproof - it definitely is waterproof, will see with some more wear about breathable Looks cool though (IRL) ... ps: it’s really easy to sew but no seam ripper allowed, holes are forever 😑 and no pressing
Ps no2 Yes @ute_ig tyvek comes in many weights and it’s naturally kinda stiff, paper like. It needs to be broken in...+crinkles = + softness
Have a nice weekend guys 😘
#sundaystitching : 2 shirts (one for me in #tyvek and one for him ).... testing the fusible interfacing I’m going to use. After a lot of trial and error I decided to stick with #vilene @vlieseline_uk whenever I can. I also like to attach to my “archive” interfacings a little label with the specs and instructions I printed from their downloadable products flyer :)
