Good morning! I want to start off by saying that I have totally been slacking lately. My YouTube channel was put on the back burner for a hot minute but that is going to change! I recorded a video yesterday and it will be edited and uploaded in the next day or two buttttt before I get into that..... ✌🏽
If I have seen any of you lately I’m sure I have been talking your ears off about the keto diet (high fat/low carb) and how wonderful it is. If I haven’t and you’re curious I would love to recommend you watching ‘The Magic Pill’ on @netflix . I do plan on making a whole vlog and really getting in depth about my experiences (and how I’ve already lost 12lbs!) but that probably won’t be until next week because I do have a little thing called work.. 🥦
This however is not a diet. For me, it has become a lifestyle choice. “Diets” don’t work because most of the time no life changes are being made. You cut something out, e.g. sugar or meat or carbs for a few weeks and then you go right back to eating how you were before. Most of the time gaining back any weight you may have lost or even gaining a few pounds more! This was me for YEARSSSS. I was “yo-yo” dieting and didn’t understand why I wasn’t losing weight or I even put more weight on. Being fit is more then just going to the gym. Research claims diet is 80% of being fit and exercise is a mere 20%. 🏃🏽♀️
Now of course stress also plays a huge role in weight gain or even weight loss for some. I myself noticed a gradual weight change after my mom had passed in 2013. Loss is never easy. I do plan on talking more about that later but as of right now I want to keep my focus on my recent discoveries and tips that have helped me in the last few months get on track. ❤️

I want my posts to be as genuine as possible and this is how I am going to do that! I want to share my favorite recipes and any DIYs that I love. (making your own butter, saving a few extra $$ and doing your own cold brew coffee at home, searing the perfect steak, just to name a few 😊❤️) Love to you all and talk soon!
