All the steps!! Before getting home from work today, it said I was at 7000ish steps.  This is post workout and post dinner.  My step tracker is s super cheap brand!! Completely inaccurate for heart rate, blood pressure, sleep patterns... For fun, I took a small run from one side of campus to the next... Said my heart rate was 62!!! Definitely was around 120.  You can never trust technology like this to calculate things properly.  Some habits I use? An ACTUAL heart rate and blood pressure monitor.  Main reason is to help keep track of abnormalities. Excuses are easy to create, but have you ever thought about the meaning behind each excuse?  As a teacher, all I ever receive is excuses from my students.. Excuses why they didn't do their work, excuses why they didn't bring a pencil after countless reminders... Admit you are at fault, and do something different to better yourself!! I'm tired of creating excuses for my own health, aren't you?  Take the extra time, wake up earlier, meal plan better, work harder, eat healthier.  You don't have to wait until the new year to start a new and better habit.

Avocado... Peel the avocado.. Not feeling well, so resorting to an easy and fast meal.  Breakfast quesadilla.  Avocado, bacon, and tomato slices.  Used a small amount of cheese as well to help everything stick together.  Tasted great and hopefully will help boost me to tackle the day.  If not, that's what medicine is for!

Definitely have a love/hate relationship with Sundays.  Love getting to spend time at home with my #furbabies, hate the fact that I have to go to work tomorrow and abandon them. If only we could have a take your dog to work day...

Air fried grapefruit half!! Perfect post-workout snack.  Drizzled with a very small amount of honey and cinnamon, then placed in the air fryer for 8 minutes on 350.  Tastes so delicious! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ
