I honestly hope you all enjoy this photo because I practically got blown away off the top of this hill trying to get it 💨 Despite the weather, Cobh and its colors are one of my favorite parts about Ireland 🇮🇪 😍
Alaska is as beautiful as you’d think. Unfortunately I came down with a tonsil infection halfway through my time here and was in bed for 2 days straight 🤒 Have you ever been super sick while traveling? I was lucky that my mom was there with me 😂
There’s nothing like not training, running a half marathon, and still managing to PR (okay, so I’ve only run 2 half marathons and didn’t train for either, so maybe not so impressive). But running through Anchorage, Alaska was just the 🍒 on top! Check my bio for my latest post on how this baby went down ☝🏼
Did you know that New Zealand is home to the steepest residential street in the world? Did you know that Virgin Australia lost my sister’s bag for three days and she spent the entire stay in Queenstown wearing the exact same outfit? Fun facts.
They say that the Milford Sound is the 8th wonder of the world, and the most beautiful place on Earth 🌏 I can attest that it is very, very nice. But some of the best parts are in the smaller details, like this mini rainbow 🌈 at the bottom of the waterfall 💦 (and the dolphins 🐬 that were swimming along with the boat 😍)
If I learned anything from traveling to Oceania, it is that the oceans there are absolutely unreal. You don’t see ocean that blue on the coast of Maryland, USA. But even so, the Great Barrier Reef, one of the most amazing things I’ve ever gotten to see, is in danger. Climate change has made one of the world’s most incredible ecosystems the most threatened. That is bullshit. You can donate to help restore and preserve the reef and save all the life that lives within it at barrierreef.org/donate/make-a-donation. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE ❗️❗️ Happy, happy Thursday, or whatever day it is on the western side of the world 🙃
I’ve always called pigeons rats with wings but in Brisbane I really bonded with them. Look how lovingly I’m looking at this guy. WHODA THOUGHT. Everyone will tell you Brisbane is boring and easy to miss, but it was probably my favorite bigger city on Australia’s east coast due to its beautiful riverside and laidback vibe
Whitehaven Beach’s sand in the Whitsunday Islands was the softest most luxurious sand I’ve ever felt. I could have just laid there all day. Here is the tamest picture of me on the beach (there were some of me rolling in the sand which turned out to be v scary). I hope you enjoy my butt 🍑
LOLing at the reef. This was only about 30 minutes before we picked up anchor and headed back to Cairns. The ocean was INSANELY rough. People were barfing on every corner of the ship. My piece of bread on my lunch plate almost blew into the ocean. I fell off this bench and rolled across the ship deck gracelessly. Still the best day ever.
I wrote a post about my favorite hotel in Costa Rica really really late last night (link in bio) but shit, it was hard to find the time. How do people blog and travel all at once? I know humans can’t multitask, but I really, REALLY cannot multitask. What is everyone up to this weekend? 🌴
