Bye bye blue 🦋!
This Wil-hold sewing kit is in its way to a new home. Don’t worry, I added a lot more bubble wrap and even a pillow form because I ran out of bubble wrap. 😂
There are just a few of these vintage treasure boxes left!
Textile Goods For All Generations
Thank you for your years of creative and inspirational service to the quilting, sewing and maker communities @theclothpocket 💕
You will be missed and I hope that all of you go on to make bigger and better things happen!
PS~ Thanks for the cool stickers, magnets and what might be the best sewing photo op mural of all time. All that sweet fabric too 😘
This reminds me of that old Arbor Day commercial. It said something like, “The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is today.” So, do that load of laundry, pull that fabric you want to cut into, make plans for the weekend, sign up for that class you’d like to take, meal plan for the week, do something to make tomorrow better.
She wants to be a Neonatal Physician when she grows up, so we got her some scrubs, a white doctor coat (not pictured), a medical kit and some children’s books about visiting the doctor.
I know that she will probably change her mind several times as she grows up over the years, but I’m super proud of her current career goal. She came up with this after reading a story about Barbie being a baby doctor and we talked about the real names for different types of doctors.
It’s my baby’s birthday today! We are switching gears from quilting to baking just for today. They love helping to decorate their cakes.
How do you like my Mississippi Memaw apron @kimberlyquigleysingel sent me? She’s my Fabric Godmother. That’s like a Fairy Godmother, but for quilters and cooler.
