17 years ago; this picture is taken from the book "the September 11 photo project". the photographer (whose not named) explains how he took this photo from his balcony and that the tennis players below were new York university tennis players unaware that what was going on was terrorist related. It's my favorite photo from any photos I've seen of that tragic day. I want to send thoughts and prayers to families affected. if there is any silver lining it was regardless who you voted for, the color of your skin or what you believed in. ehat mattered was you were American and you were proud to support and love one another. I hope to God it doesnt take another 9/11 to unite us. #9 /11 #september11th#september11#september11project#america#united#september11photoproject
day 5, 8/14;
Beer me. Tuesdays are my days off. today I drank beer and fished. Thank God there was beer because I didnt catch a single fish. Beer and fishing seemingly go hand in hand but you know what so does beer and baseball. Tonight the rockies beat the defending world champs in Houston to keep their playoff run spinning. Let's go Rockies, let's drink beer and hooray for days off.
Day 1, 8/10
cream or no cream? How do you like your coffee? I've decided to venture out and try a 365 project where you take a picture a day for an entire year. People read or hear this without even considering a thought about how challenging taking a good picture every day is. I finished one years ago and was proud to do so and fascinated by how much goes on in one year of your life. On this day I went into a Mexican restaurant and the waitress asked me what I was taking pictures of and it sort of Inspired me to take a good picture at the table. I've been a lazy photographer lately so here we go. Well see you over the next year.
