Wallaby is comming for some cuddles. This was not in a zoo, it was on a hike. He came closer and waited to see, if we were a threat. We did not feed it. Its always a bad idea to feed wild animals. See the claws ? They can get very mad, when you stop feeding them and then they try to claw you. Sometimes just cuddling is enough :-)
One of the many Pools in the Nothern Territory Australia. Look how clear the water is. Its OK to swim here. Crocodiles cant climb hills :-) Far away you can see smoke. Aborigines doing controlloed fires to prevent huge bushfires.
Nothern Territory Australia. I arrived in Darwin without any plans what to do the next few days. Luckily a the next day there was starting a 3 day tour into the Kakadu Nationalpark. Sometimes you have just to embrace life and let things happen.
Into the dunes of the Sahara. With this backlight shot i will show you, why its important to bring sunglasses to the desert :-) I took this picture in the afternoon after we reached our spot for camping. The first thing you do after arriving at the camping spot, you unsaddle the camels. Then you set up your tent or spend the night outdoors like I do. It was not to cold like 5 degrees Celsius at night. But still cold enough not to let the spiders crawl into your mouth while sleeping ;-)
Dunes in the Sahara. You can hike barefoot in the morning for the first hour. Then the sand is getting really hot. I recommend hiking sandals. The thing with hiking boots is, you get a lot of sand in your boots and you are sweating a lot and its a lot easier to walk on sand with sandals. You won´t sink so deep into the sand as you do with boots.
India 2012. I had a nice time back in the days in 2012 in India. I did a 18 days trip in India and visiting places like this one, a mausoleum with really beautiful buildings. As you see, even with old cameras you can make good picures :-). I shot this picrure with the EOS 5 D Mark I, but i still use the 17-40 lens today.
