So many things in London that I'd love to capture. For example, all these pub signs. They're so interesting and diverse. And the old lettering on walls!
Do you tend to look for details, or are you more of a "big picture" type of person?
Same spot, different subject, and a bit more light. I usually go around photographing what's there in the moment. For this little series, I chose a background and waited for people to walk into the frame. Wish I didn't get stuck in old ways most of the time. There is so much out there to experiment with.
Looking majestic in the autumn light, the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, with a few great memories and a bit of regret that I didn't try their afternoon tea.
I'm starting to get a bit obsessed with this #afternoontea affair. Do you have a favorite place to have tea, or a treasured memory of it?

"If adventures will not befall a young lady in her own village, she must seek them abroad." - JANE AUSTEN, Northanger Abbey
I'm wrapping up my Bath series with this most pertinent quote of the city's most famous resident. I have been an Austen fan for decades. There are few books that brought me more pleasure than Pride and Prejudice, and I wanted to visit Bath mainly because of Jane. Her advice will always ring true to me. If adventure doesn't come my way, I will be searching for it elsewhere.
