Three years ago today that I was on Heron Island Research Station sciencing with these three! Since this photo in the rinse tank they've been off on adventures chasing aurora borealis in the Arctic circle, protecting whales in the Southern Ocean and doing important science work on corallines in beautiful Scotland. So proud of these strong women divers who take their passion for the marine environment wherever they go! But it's been three years so I think it's definitely time for another bath 😂 @wdhof @paditv #WomeninSTEM
Today I made a #pledge of #commitment to the beautiful country of #Australia . At the #citizenship ceremony we were all given a native plant. Mine is just little but if I take good care of it one day it will be a beautiful #calistimon tree full of lorikeets!
#HomewardBound is an initiative to increase the visibility of #WomeninSTEM . I’m thrilled to have been selected as part of the fourth cohort alongside female scientists from 25 disciplines and 33 countries! In November this year I’ll start a year long adventure with these three @uniofqld scientists and 91 others, that will culminate in an expedition to #Antarctica ! #TeamHB4#HomewardBound @homewardboundprojects
Check out what my lab have been up to this year! #CoralTriangle#IYOR2018#OceanOptimism @theoceanagency @anjganase @dom.snoopy.bryant @markeykat @uniofqld @officialpaulallen ...thanks for @stefan.andrews for covering our research!
