🍁4oz grilled chicken 🍁1/2 cup roasted butternut squash (400 for 30ish mins)
🍁1/2 cup roasted carrots (400 degrees for 30 mins) 🍁Fat free feta (what I had on hand, you can use regular feta, goat cheese, etc.)

🍴PERDUE CHICKEN (my favorite Bc it is already pre-portioned) 🍴FROZEN SHRIMP ($5.88 and will be dinner for 2 nights) 🍴93% LEAN 7% FAT GROUND TURKEY (I make into 4 turkey burgers and freeze them) 🍴EAT BANZA PASTA (trying this for the first time! So excited 🙌🏼) 🍴MORNING STAR VEGGIE LINKS (9g of meatless protein in the morning!)
🍴LIGHT AND FIT GREEK YOGURT (after dinner dessert EVERY night) .
The rest is just veggies and fruit that I incorporate into these meals! .

I love love love veggies and have at least 2 with every meal. They keep me full & satisfied and are most are very low cal so I eat lots of them! .
DEETS⤵️
▪️Shrimp (defrosted & cooked in a pan)
▪️Zucchini & yellow squash cooked in avocado oil in a pan ▪️Oven roasted carrots (bakes in avocado oil on 400 for 30ish minutes) ▪️Oven roasted sweet potatoes (see meal prep highlight on my page) ▪️(NOT SHOWN) topped with @bolthousefarms ranch & bagel seasoning (weird combo but it’s my favorite way to season my food) .
That’s allll🤗 I always prep my veggies so they’re an easy re-heat during the week! It saves me tons of time and I have healthy options at the tip of my fingers 💯

❕MY BEST PIECE OF ADVICE ON YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY❕

Trial and error. This sounds so obvious guys but it is the TRUTH. .
It’s nice to get some inspo from your favorite Instagram girls and what works for them (workouts, nutrition, etc.) BUT, it is probably not going to work for you. .
A healthy lifestyle is definitely not a one size fits all and it can takes months, even YEARS to figure out your balance. .
For example, IIFYM (flexible dieting) works wonders for a good portion of the instagram fit community but made me personally obsess over numbers and stress about what I can and cannot eat. Now, I know that it does not work for myself and my goals! Wouldn’t of figured it out unless I tried 😅
.
So stop scrolling, stop mimicking someone else’s fitness journey, and go out and find something that is SUSTAINABLE to you and something that you can see yourself doing LONG-TERM. That’s what it’s all about 😇

❕MY BEST PIECE OF ADVICE ON YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY❕ . Trial and error. This sounds so obvious guys but it is the TRUTH. . It’s nice to get some inspo from your favorite Instagram girls and what works for them (workouts, nutrition, etc.) BUT, it is probably not going to work for you. . A healthy lifestyle is definitely not a one size fits all and it can takes months, even YEARS to figure out your balance. . For example, IIFYM (flexible dieting) works wonders for a good portion of the instagram fit community but made me personally obsess over numbers and stress about what I can and cannot eat. Now, I know that it does not work for myself and my goals! Wouldn’t of figured it out unless I tried 😅 . So stop scrolling, stop mimicking someone else’s fitness journey, and go out and find something that is SUSTAINABLE to you and something that you can see yourself doing LONG-TERM. And boy did it feel good ❤️ Only went a short distance but it is so nice to re-visit a passion after taking some time off! .
The feeling of putting your headphones in, putting your stress aside, and taking off is so good for the mind! .
I know running isn’t for everyone but if you never tried it before there’s always a first 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don’t plan on training for anything major until the Scranton 1/2 rolls around but a few runs here and there is the plan! ❤️
