Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2018
Every race has its own challenge, so does the SCSM. The views SCSM gave were spectacular, running through the majestic building such as National Gallery Singapore, The Fullerton Hotel, Gardens by The Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and Singapore Flyer, it was really fascinating my eyes.
But the weather was really challenging. It was hot and humid, something I couldn't handle well. The temperature was like what we face daily in Jakarta, but the humidity was something different. Since KM 3 I had been sweating a lot, and not enough wind to reduce my body temperature. I drank a lot water and isotonic and also poured many water to my body every time I met hydration point to prevent dehydration. But it might be too little to late, I got cramped from both knees, then to my calves, and sometimes my waist.
At one point I almost couldn't move my legs and thought about giving up. But a runner passed me by with a tattoo, words from Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." And it hit me! I gathered my strength and moral energy, #IWILL finish what I started. I did new strategy: jogging when I could, walking when cramps attacked. By doing that for 22K, I finally crossed the finish line in 6:41:31.
Thank you @indorunners and @underarmourid for giving me this amazing opportunity. Thank you for the HOVR Sonic experience, the Energy Web gave me the energy return every time I step my foot! Being the one of the Under Armour Run Crews from Indonesia is my highlight of 2018! I also want to congratulate my Run Crew Mates, Bang @amranrunrun for finishing the HM with spectacular time in that situation, superb! And to Kak @hanamalasan and husband @falatehansyah for breaking your HM Virgin together, you both are awesome! Hope to run with you all again! Congratulations to all SCSM finishers, you Guys are Will Breaker!
Borobudur Marathon 2018
Shot out to one of the best race I've ever had! Running in (almost) sterile road with panoramic and historical view. The route was challenging, but the cheering squad was super awesome, all day long!
Thank you @underarmourid for the exceptional running gears, especially the HOVR Sonic shoes. The HOVR foam really lifts me up!
Hopefully I'll get another amazing adventure in @sgmarathon to come.
Impressive shot by @geraklensa at KM 15.
This December I'll be running at @sgmarathon, and @underarmourid HOVR Sonic will be my companion.
I just tried the HOVR Sonic, and Man, it felt so great! With Zero Gravity Feel, HOVR Sonic is so light and responsive. The upper is breathable and lock in my feet perfectly.
The outsole is exceptional! HOVR foam technology with the Energy Web, gives a great cushioning with energy return, so it's comfortable and also responsive!
I can't wait to run more milages with my HOVR Sonic in half course Borobudur Marathon this Sunday!
PS: it looks so cool!

Will you be running on Combi Run 2018? Need friends to cheer you up till finish line? Meet us!
Pacer is your running companion that helps you to focus on running by maintaining a specific time per KMs. Running a distance race with a pacer allows you to focus exclusively on your running, without having to expend any mental energy on your pace. You just need to keep your eyes on the pacer, focus on your running form, keep hydrating and listen to your body.

I once was proud being a Runi Ranger. Terpilih sebagai Ranger, membantu teman-teman runners memulai (dan menyelesaikan) program lari mereka, sungguh bangga.
But now, instead of being proud, I am honored to be part of Runi Rangers. Yang tadinya berpikir bisa berbagi ilmu dan pengalaman, justru mendapat banyak ilmu dan pengalaman baru. Belum lagi dukungan dan semangat yang didapat tiap gabung latihan. Terima kasih untuk itu.
And now, I once again need your help and support to win a Singapore Marathon slot from @underarmourid!

Humans are, and will always be, social beings. We will always need others to live.
To unlock this stage, I got help and support from many, so allow me to show my gratitude.
Thank you @indorunners through @irruniversity for the Open Training Program. I could execute my speed session, strength training and long run accompanied by many people.
Also thanks to everyone who supported me during the program, who cheered me during the race, to those who did shout my name and welcome me at the finish line, to all people who'd also crossed the line. Let's show our medal, we earned it!
Last but not least, my deepest gratitude to Mas Herman @mansyah_her. Thank you for arranging many things and sorry for troubling you, LOL. Congratulations for your awesome Personal Record, you deserve it!

For many runners, this result is not that impressive. Even for me, this was not my target, still miss 15 minutes from what I intended to. But, looking back to when I started this program, this result is super awesome for me.
I started the training roughly. Shin splints attacked my right leg before the program, and both calves and knees were not in fit condition, neither. At first, my target was only to finish under cut off time.
But because I'd want to finish this race as good as possible, I did everything I could. Better warmup and cool down, ice compression after long run, sleeping with compression tight, sport massage, and physiotherapist treatment. I'd want my feet and body ready on race day. And I finished in 05:31, with no pain or injury at all, it was unbelievable.
A special thanks for MasHer @masher_physio (and also Mbak Titin) from @evophysio.id for the treatments. Not only giving well treatments, but he was also giving knowledge and positive energy. Thank you very much for your talent, Mas Her!
Also big thanks for everyone in Fontana who gave sport massage to me: Bu Lia, Mpok Hindun, Mas Ahmad, and Mas Yudi, all best to you, Folks!

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty!
My third Full Marathon race, far from my Personal Record, but so much better than previous one.
Since this is my first time to go to Bali, I'd want to make this race as enjoyable as possible. I don't want the nightmare of Jakarta Marathon recurrent. It means I must have a well preparation.
Thank you PakLe Sulis @soelistyo_adi for your program and supervision, I truly appreciate your kindness. Three months of preparation, not all menus are delighting, but I believed it will work for me, and I was right. The target indeed wasn't met, but I did my best, and I really enjoyed my five hours thirty minutes and forty seconds adventure. Bali Marathon is indeed lebaran nya para pelari. The people's enthusiasm is second to none, filling the road with cheering and support all 42.195 kilometers! Matur suksma!
Also big thanks to friends, family, and everyone for the support, cheering, prayers, and advices. God bless you all.
