#AncientRoman cuisine: white bread soaked in grease. Garlic and onion aside... I know, it doesn't sound like much. But I pretty much fell in the with their dessert: olives cured in honey. I can't wait to fuck up this recipe at home.
Legend says that Vlad III of Wallachia (/Vlad Dracul) was held prisoner for 7 years by his relative, John Hunyadi (/Iancu de Hunedoara), Hungary's military leader, in a dungeon of this castle. Even though historians don't confirm the story of Vlad's imprisonment, it is known that Vlad III entered a political alliance with John Hunyadi, although the latter was responsible for the execution of his father, Vlad II Dracul. John Hunyadi supported Vlad III to seize the Wallachian throne from Vladislav II, and become Prince of Wallachia.
This is what I call excellent Romanian drama 💖
My heart skips a beat at the thought of leaving this place. I fell in love with the Swedish obsession with sustanaibility starting with organic food consumption to recycling awareness and creating energy from renewable resources. I was happy to find out that WWF Sweden’s goal is to establish the country as a leading exporter of climate-friendly energy solutions. You guys magically handed me more ambition.
Since I've been waiting for this holiday for two months, life decided to throw at me a lovely post #ElectricCastle viral infection. But not even high fever stopped me from a 16 km city walk while coughing my lungs out.
