I was on a ski lift with my sister when it stopped for a few seconds. I learned that my sister has issues with ski lifts, especially if they are not moving. So what did I do as a concerned brother? Did I comfort her? Reassure her? Nope; I teased her and got it on video. Warning: she cusses me out a little. #sister#skilift#newhampshire#attitash#alpineslide
Here I am canoeing. I want to come of as some able bodied canoe master but the truth is I was getting blown around on the lake like a rookie. The worst part is that it wasn’t even that windy. Just a gentle breeze. At least I didn’t tip over. #canoe#canoeing#lake#ossipee#freedom#newhampshire
So there’s this soda called “Moxie” and you can only buy it in Maine and New Hampshire. It’s pretty good. It’s hard t describe the taste though. Like a Dr Pepper but if it was made with licorice...sorta. It’s weird, but yummy. #moxie#newhampshire#northconway
This was my run this morning. There are so many trees here. I grew up in New England and sometimes I forget that there are so many trees. I always laugh to myself when people in Utah say things like “forest” or “woods”. Also, only part of the road my grandparents lived on was paved. It’s still half dirt. #run#running#morningrun#trees#newhampshire
A long time ago my grandparents had chickens and they kept them in a coop. Well the chickens are LONG gone and the coop has been converted into a little house. It has just a couple of beds but I slept in this place a lot as a kid. I have a lot of cousins and the house fills up fast. I spent a week with my friend @charlie_bermani here swimming in the lake and listening to Nine Inch Nails when we were 14. #ossipee#freedomnewhampshire#chickencoop
This is Turtle Cove, the part of Lake Ossipee that my grandparents lived on. I spent my summers swimming and canoeing and swimming and playing in the woods and swimming (we swam a lot). I took it for granted when I was a kid but I was definitely spoiled. #ossipee#ossipeelake#newhampshire
I’m in New Hampshire for my grandmothers funeral. This is her house. I spent a LOT of time here as a kid. It was practically a second home. I haven’t been here since 2007. I hate that I only get to come back once a decade but I’m glad I’m at here now.
