I get the feeling that some people think my life is easy, that I am lucky (which I am) and that I don't struggle (or maybe that my struggles could never be as hard as theirs) but let me tell you, no one has it easy, everyone has a struggle and though it may look different than your struggle, it doesn't mean that they are not hurting in a similar way. .
I took this photo of Carter last year on an adventure to get fire wood to warm our house for winter. Mila was only 6 months old, I had just landed my first few clients and it was only a few months earlier that we said goodbye to my brother in law as he lost his fight against addiction #FuckFentanyl . .
There were a lot of what I like to call "WTF moments" that year. Kyle and I would just look at each other in awe wonder/say/screem/ mouth "WTF!. It was a crazy year. With the birth of Mila occurring only weeks after loosing Colin I knew that for her and our families sake that we would have to focus on the positive, put our grief and our "its not fair" outlook on life to the side as we focused only on what would positively serve our lives moving forward. .
I took any positive momentum I could get, focused on my moments of clarity, picking up on any "signs" that the universe gave me and applied it all to a business and a lifestyle that would work for our family. I worked my ASS off and so did Kyle and the kids as their roles in our family had to adapt to another business being ran out of our house.
So before you compare yourself to mine or anyone else's highlight reel, remember this. We all have moments of struggle, self doubt and insecurities, even if we are in a different stage of life. Instead of focusing on someone elses path take a look at your own and honour how far you have come. Listen to your gut + to the universes signs. You would be surprised of how far you can come when you give yourself a lot of love. #YouDontKnowMyStruggle#BeKind#letsgetauthentic
Feeling Moony? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As the blood moon comes to a close, you'll begin to feel your feet dangling over the spiritual edge, your intuition spilling you harsh truths, and the sensation that something big is about to happen. And let me tell you, lunar eclipses never lie. Whether you're ready for it or not, a blood moon will shove you toward change, and change never happens without the loss of something else.
Relationships, projects, careers, and beliefs are known to come to an end on an eclipse. What survives the purging of this blood moon is meant to remain in your life (at least for now). -elitedaily.com ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀📸 @_samrei #ourbasin#basinlife2018
