I spent the past weekend in San Diego and I haven't had this much fun in a while. Let me tell you, lately, I've been a bit stressed out with work, getting projects completed, and dealing with emotional issues, that I forgot what it felt like to be in the present moment and to be joyful like the carefree kid I once was.
However, this weekend I felt a natural high after salsa dancing and I couldn't stop laughing while riding electric scooters at 14 mph into the summer sunset in North Park and Balboa Park. I was grateful for the Sunday morning hike after I stuffed my face with delicious healthy and not so healthy vegan food this weekend. Thanks so much @evadivafit for such a fun time and your warm hospitality. You reminded me that it's okay to take a break from responsibilities, to eat some delicious Thai food that I was craving, and to laugh until my stomach hurt. 💜
It was a wakeup call when I had health issues in my 20s and seeing loved ones suffering from health issues. Eat a lot of fresh and alkaline fruit and vegetables, get plenty of rest, avoid stress, stay active, go into nature, surround yourself with positive people, get naked under the sun for purification. Take care of yourself and your body will take care of you. No more suffering 🌳☀🍎🍇🍊🥝🍍P.S. This post isn't meant to hurt or offend anyone. I don't think I'm a judgemental person and I don't want this post to come off that way. I probably care too much about how so many people are suffering today and it really makes me upset to see people suffer when I believe there are natural ways to heal. We cannot control the genes we inherit or when and how we will die, but we can make smarter and healthier choices each day. Yes, we inherit genes from our parents and some of us are more genetically predisposed to certain health conditions than others, but I also believe in detoxification and cellular regeneration, which can strengthen and heal cells. I believe there is hope and I've taken years of my life studying integrative health practices and continue to study them, but I know not everyone believes in natural practices the same way I do. And that's fine. Anyway, sending everyone my love. 💗💗💗
Thank you so much for your support, everyone! I have some new followers, so here are some FAQs with answers. *
🌹Age? I'm 32. 🌹Where do you live? Southern California. 🌹Are you fully raw vegan? No, I eat mostly raw, though. 🌹How long have you been vegan? Since 2012. *
🌹What general advice do you have for people transitioning to the vegan diet? My general advice is to transition slowly in order to get mentally and physically prepared for the dietary changes. Also, educate yourself as much as possible on detoxification and vegan food ideas/recipes. Lastly, forgive yourself if you eat unhealthy food along the journey. It happens to almost all of us. Just get back on track when you can. *
🌹Can you tell me what I need to do in order to detox? Unfortunately, I can't give you my recommendations because I don't have enough information about you. Everyone has different needs and is at a different place on their health journey. I provide individualized detox services where I gather more information about your health from your completed health assessment. Link in the bio. Also, I have a detox playlist on my YT channel, where I talk about my detox experiences and I give general advice.
Here's a clip of a new video I posted on IGTV about the power of our words. If something makes us laugh, why do we state that we're dead? Shouldn't that give us life?
Also, a lot of people constantly say, "I'm old", and they're only 30 years of age. And they actually start to feel old. I avoid saying "I'm old" as much as possible. Also, maybe instead of saying, "I'm _____ years old." We can say, "I'm _____ years of age." Let's be more mindful what we say about ourselves and each other. 💗💗💗
I'm passionate about sharing health facts and posting pictures of what I’m eating and of my hiking trips in nature. However, when I give too much of myself without practicing self-care, it leaves me drained. It’s imperative that I nourish my light and take time off of social media every now and then. This little break from social media has refueled me for the most part. I’ll slowly start posting more again as I continue to fill my cup. Thanks for understanding! 💗💗💗 #selfcare#fasting#selflove#rest#powerofnow#nature#presentmoment#breathein#breatheout
