The Squat, a base of any lower body,leg workout or strength training gym goer.
I see so often WEIGHT over depth, technique which results in lack of “gains” or progress.
@kylewilso_ has progressed consistently and is now doing some good weight, maintaining depth(especially being 6ft+) and maintaining good technique.

My Tips to a decent squat:
- Maintain good depth(May need to work in hip mobility)🔶 orange line
- Brace core and maintain a neutral spine 🔵 line
- Ensure you move your hips first, dropping weight into the heels and not breaking at the knees first. Try to restrict excessive “knees over feet” 🍀green line haha
Progression isn’t always weight on the bar, I believe it is increasing weight on the bar while maintaining a good technique👌🏽💪🏽😁

💥SHOULDER PAIN W/ PULL-UPS💥
This one is pretty plain and simple. 
A pull-up should be more of a back exercise.

The two main muscles to focus on:
🔸Latissimus Dorsi
🔸Lower Traps
.
Unfortunately, when you get tired, the upper traps REALLY want to do more work. But, this can lead to increased forward head posture, headaches, and that constant upper back tension. 
To avoid this, make sure to grab a band when needed and really focus on pulling the shoulders away from the ears.

Straight bar hanging is GREAT and I love it. But it’s a completely different intention for the pull-up. 
A good way to learn is to practice pulling exercises (on the bar, rings, or TRX) and work on pure scapular depression without bending the elbows.
