I desire to have this much joy and contentment when someone hands me a plushy flower that they won at an arcade game. •

If this was me I would greatly appreciate the gift of plushiness and then soon after give it to a near by dog.

What do you call a yak that is full of himself?...
An egomani-yak

Did you hear about the yak that got into a car accident?... he wrecked his cadil-yak
What kind of yak do you need in Outer Mongolia?...
A yak of all trades

Okay I’m done...

Yo I got facial expressions that change faster than your girls decision on where to have lunch.

Woman of God.
What this picture does not show was 10 minutes prior I was teaching the beautiful woman on the right how to use an inhaler. Y’all I want you to picture this frizzy haired westerner trying to describe how to use this minimalistic device..Rocket science would have been easier... 27 minutes later...she was less knowledgeable than before...

It is truly a struggle when the photographer takes the photo and is in it at the same time... “33 minutes later....”

Red riding hood in full effect.
How can you travel to a foreign country and not get embedded in a culture? Not possible.

I was a cashew in a sea of almonds.. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the other half of the pine-nut family.

Dear little queen: I pray that you grow up filled abundantly with the presence and overwhelming peace of Christ. Lord I pray, that when you look at yourself in the mirror you won’t see imperfections or mistakes tallied up on a chalkboard, but you will see Christ’s beauty whom lives inside you and the divine purpose of which he has chosen you for. I pray that one day you won’t throw your pearls before swine, because you see your innocence as the treasure it truly is; and If it is His will He’ll reveal to you the man that makes your purity his priority.
You are loved.
You are cherished.
You are chosen.

Yoooo it’s been a week... 🤭 a week full excitement, new experiences and perseverance. One thing remains true is that the Indian heat never gives up and neither does Jesus. Throughout these few short days that have blown by so quickly I have had the privilege of helping lead Sunday school for the Daniels home church in Chennai, organizing missions files and paperwork so it can be easily accessed for future reference, and also visiting two It’s a Girl project facilities called Kumananchavdi and Villivakkam (bonus points to whomever can pronounce those names correctly) I realized when holding a Minnie VBS all it is just constant party and or Zumba class..(I may have gotten heat stroke and a stomach parasite on one occasion…I’m all healed up now though.. Praise Jesus). What an absolute joy it has been to serve the one who serves us daily and to get new perspective into what it truly looks like to have faith like a child. Vulnerability like a child. Love like a child.

Galatians 3:26 quotes, “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.” I can’t wait to continue to grow as a child on this journey through faith in Christ Jesus.

Thank you all again so much for your prayers, encouragement, and support. You are all appreciated more than words can bear.

Stay tuned....😉

Hello Friends! As the craziness of semesters come to a close, new chapters are opening! My heart is flooded with emotions as just this past week I have been officially offered a summer internship in India 🇮🇳 from mid-May through mid-August! No one but our God could have orchestrated this so quickly, so powerfully, and providentially using various leadership and members at Woodside Bible Church to make it all happen. I will be serving alongside long time missionary partners of WBC, Drs. Mano and Sheila Daniels. I have been blessed to go to Haiti this year and last, and to spend the summer of 2017 in Mongolia serving alongside my aunt and uncle, Trina and Mickey Cofer. I believe this open door to India is yet another step in discerning the Lord’s calling as He awakens my heart to local and global missions. This year’s internship will allow me to learn and serve in various urban ministries abroad: medical clinic to the poor, leadership training center for church planting and growth, a printing operation instrumental in sending millions of gospel tracks and discipleship literature throughout the continent, and the Magimai orphanage in Pondicherry that ministers to AIDS affected children who lost parents and were at risk for human trafficking.
I share my vision and opportunities with you to ask if you would pray about partnering with me in this God-inspired adventure that He is taking me on. The total expense of the trip for airfare, lodging and incidentals is estimated to be $6000. By faith I believe that as He has opened doors for this extremely humbling opportunity and trust He will supply the need for it by His Spirit. Woodside Bible has setup an account where donations can be deposited online or where checks can be mailed for tax-deductible giving

Haiti in itself is beautiful: to the view of the vast ocean and the majestic mountains. I especially LOVE the mountains and I especially love the mountaintops. I have been to the Mountaintop with our Lord. I certainly have most definitely through the valleys, but it is on the mountaintop that something transfiguring takes place. It’s on the mountaintop where we get a glimpse of Majesty.  We get a glimpse of vision.
The few who climb to their summit are those who behold the real majesty, because they see from heights that others do not; they see further than those who stay in the plains or live in the valleys. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” We ascend the mountain to capture the vision.
When you are up there on your mountaintop, God wants you to see the eternal landscape. His landscape doesn’t involve trees and snow and antelope or valleys filled with lilies. His landscape involves the faces of people. Eyes that hide the message, “I am eternal.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God, “has put eternity into the hearts of men.”
If we begin to interact with people having in the forefront of our minds that they are eternal beings we will behave differently, we will speak differently, and we will think differently about them. We will see them not for how they are, but for what they are designed to be. We will see their immense value even if they do not. We will see their gifts waiting to be ignited. We will see their wanderings as a pathway needing to be steered to the right road.
When we see people like this and how God may have given us a chance to plant a seed to water the eternal perspective placed in their hearts by their Creator, we will live on mission. That is our calling. That’s the vision. That’s why we ascend.
We went to Haiti not for us, but to fulfill that mountain top vision. To answer a call. Psalm 3:4 “I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain.” When He answers will you have ears to listen? Could you hear him if He was speaking to you right now? Is your vision yours or His?

Missing tranquility. Of mind, body and soul. The feeling of absolute peace, not only environmentally, but inwardly. In times when I find it easy to be discouraged in my failings, discontent in my circumstances, deceived in my own disbelief....I still have a redeeming God..The same God who delivered nations, spoke life from dust, the God that is heavenly seated on His throne...Lives.In.Me.

108 days since my best friend has been domesticated... @jdeane1994. I’m so thrilled for you and Olivia as you’ve begun your lives together; so beautifully demonstrating Christ’s holy values for marriage. So excited to see watch and continue doing life with you both....Still getting used to not being your center of attention...You’ve got a hot wife now, I understand... #WhenBaesGottaBae #wedeaneday

When all of your friends beauty knows no bounds because it is not their gorgeous posterior that controls their identity, but the Holy Spirit that radiates out of them.
“Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” -Psalm 34:5
