Working sets of 290 after not deadlifting in 3 weeks 😧Finally back on a consistent training routine and diet is on point. Eager to register for my next competition which I think will be the California winter classic! I’m hesitant to register for anything tho since my daughter is in the middle of high school volleyball season which is hectic and my son is still doing half days at kinder. Who knowsssssssss 🤷🏻♀️
Wow.. I lifted weights! 135x4 on bench. It’s nice to remember that Progression is not perfectly linear. The past month I’ve been busy progressing my business and career (talking 70-80 hour work weeks) as well as the responsibilities that come with having a high schooler and a baby going into kinder. It’s nice to know the weights still love me ❤️
Someone broke into our Tahoe at Poway LA Fitness. We never leave anything valuable in there. So now we are just left with having to take this to the dealership to get it fixed. But just wanted to remind everyone to not leave any valuables in there. #annoyed

#transformationtuesday Left picture is back in 2005ish and right picture is me now. I think I weighed back then 190lbs at my heaviest. I dropped down to 140 then started adding muscle and Now I hover around 158-165 I didn’t even think I looked bad back then until I heard a friend of mine ask my sister why I got so fat. So I decided I wanted to lose weight and that I wanted to “get toned” 🙄 (I hate those words now) so I started working out. This meant I would go on the elliptical for 20 minutes then go home and have pizza because I worked out. 😣🤦🏻♀️ I knew nothing about nutrition or calories and 0 about working out. Luckily one of my coworkers offered to go with me to the gym to show me different workouts, he also kinda introduced me to eating better. Since those days (2005) I have been in the gym no matter what. I may let a few days go by when life gets hectic but I always find my way back. You can start at any time and a year from then you’ll be glad you did.
My new favorite accessory @benchblokz that’s helping me get to a 225lb bench. Hit 225x2x2 on the 3rd setting! Once I get to the last setting it’s only a matter of time! Unracked and forgot to bring my butt down lol but then I remembered and got the last rep with a solid lift.
Hey! I still lift! Past three weeks have been difficult with my best friend passing 💔 but I’m slowly getting back to the regularly scheduled program 📺 3 weeks ago I got 245lbs for 4 reps last night only had 1 in me but none the less still happy strength hasn’t taken a complete nose dive. Bench is still coming along. Hit paused 150 4x2 and backdown set of 135x8.
