Went in search of waves the other day for the first time since the little guy was born. Felt great to be chasing swell again 😊 no takers on this bit of slabby shorebreak though 😬

Luca is usually up at 5am, which makes it pretty easy to wake up early to do cool things like catch the sunrise at Green Cay Wetlands. We got to see some pretty epic birds and there was even a wild Luca sighting πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ΆπŸ»

Hello Instagram. It’s been a while. Life has been quite different for me the past few months. Back in May I became a father and life changed completely. My son has been the biggest blessing of my life. Between taking care of him, my wife, and working, taking photos for leisure has been low on the priority list. However, in the midst of the beautiful insanity of this new life, I’ve uncovered a new found appreciation of photography and it’s role in my life and the lives of others. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph some amazing people and amazing events this summer and I’ve realized a few things. Images stir the imagination. Images inspire. Images make us remember. Images make us stop in the middle of our crazy days and make us say β€œWow.” My hope is that I’ll be able to share here more, as I find new ways to make photography work with my life. I’ve never been sure about what I’ve wanted to do in life, but photography has been one of the few constants for me over the last ten years. So thank you for following me here, whether I know you personally or digitally. I hope you are moved by my view of the world ✌🏻
