•The fall weather called for boots this time around. I had this balance up and photographed but when I decided to wet the rocks a little I knocked it over. Typical. But it gave me a chance to record myself building it again. It’s not too often that I’m able to capture a demonstration from start to finish.•
Yeah, it’s been a minute since I’ve gone out and really perfected a balance but I’ve been really pushing to make more time for balancing again. Ironic how there’s balance in everything and not just the rocks. The temperature change last night created this mystical fog blanket. Hung around for a while just to watch the haze move and change all throughout the creek. It couldn’t have created a more perfect horizon line. 🙋🏻♂️
Ive been messing around with a few of the same stones lately, got another variation on the way as well. I also revisited this spot from a long time favorite balance from last year. Comment on the original balance way back in my feed if you remember 😬
Also, !!!! @instagram crop can suck ittttttt
“We are all floating in a tremendous river and the river carries you along. Some of the people in the river are swimming against the current, but they are still being carried along. Others have learned that the art of the thing is to swim with it. You have to flow with the river. There is no other way. You can swim against it, and pretend not to be flowing with it. But you still flow with the river.”
Haven’t posted in a little while.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than going to a place in nature and building something from scratch. But recently the local creek rocks and I haven’t been clicking. I don’t know if I’m losing interest in selection or if I’m just being too picky. Just gona let it ride out and slow down for now. The nice weather will surely spark a new creative mojo though 🦆🐝🌻🌞🌱🐠🐢
