Holy crap y’all 🤭🤩🙈!! I recently shared my 3 week transformation but check out my year one! I came across this picture this morning and it was just such a sweet reminder of where I’ve come. Don’t get caught up with the scale, or numbers, but instead take pictures. Pictures say everything. .

I’m not done yet and I’m excited to see where I’m going. This journey hasn’t been easy, it hasn’t been pretty but the important thing is I’m still going forward!

Why do I love these programs? Because tonight’s date night, I didn’t get off till 5:00 but was still able to get my workout in before a night out with bae. .

I no longer have to miss out on life. So often I fell off the wagon because I was missing out of time with friends & loved ones. Not this time! Now I just have programs that are flexible to my schedule. .

Tbh y’all I failed at planning my week out this week. I chose the “go with the flow” method and it has not worked out well. BUT, I’ve noticed my problem, and now it’s time to figure out ways to fix it. .

So here’s my plan: -use my planner - Sunday night plan when I’m working out & what I’m eating each day that way I don’t allow time to escape from me -PRIORITIZE .
.

Went back to the gym last night in like FOREVER, because I need to buy heavier weights for home! .

If you aren’t pushing yourself you aren’t going to see results! Change doesn’t come during comfortable situations. That goes for life, and fitness! You have to be willing to be uncomfortable, hurting, tired, etc for change. If you aren’t pushing yourself then what is the point? .
.
Also side note, I love the fact that I can take my workouts to the gym or my living room. Either way I’m getting results and killing my workouts. Flexibility is something I never found in previous programs but this one guarantees it, and is a reason I freaking love it!

I’m on fall break today & tomorrow and for the first time I get to actually get to relax, spend time with family and do things for myself. Normally I would have used this break to work as many hours as I could, so I could pay for gas, my car note, and other bills. NOT THIS FALL BREAK, instead this break I got to wake up this morning and work from my couch, helping women on their health journeys, all while watching a movie with my family. Now I’m treating myself to a mani & pedi and y’all I’m just so thankful what this job has given me the opportunities to do! .

Meaning, on those active rest days I do yoga or pilates. I love those workouts, however with me being gone this weekend on my retreat I had 2 days where I didn’t workout at all, to focus on being present where I was. .

Taking rest days, during events in your life is TOTALLY OKAY as long as you don’t let it set you back when you come back! Today was my first day back after those 2 off days, and as much as I didn’t want to workout I got my butt up and did it!! I made up the two workouts I missed tonight, and it felts AMAZING TO MOVE. .

Forming a habit with fitness is so important, because once the habit to do it is formed you honestly hate missing a workout. I’m ready to crush my goals this week, and finish out the program I’m doing!! It’s gunna be a great week 🤩😎🌼👏🏼!

That is the #1 reason I’m on this earth and I intend to do my job! I also enjoy time with my friends, and my sweet boyfriend. Everyone around me has always been so supportive of me and I’m so thankful to be surrounded by amazing people. .

Y’all life is rough, and I don’t always have it together. I’m not perfect, I still mess up, I still desire cake... oops and eat it too. However, you know what has transformed in my life, is my love for myself even through my mistakes! .

If I would have ate cake, or missed a workout a couple months ago I would have beat myself up for days about it. I would have looked at my bloated stomach after enjoying that meal, and beat myself up because I didn’t look like the Instagram models. I’m so happy with this transformation mentally and it’s all because I’ve realized I’m not perfect, and never will be! I’m not meant to be, but all I can do is love myself for who I am and take it one day at a time.

I was sick of cancelling plans with my friends, or showing up late to things because I had to get a “lift” in (my best friends fav word).. not lol. I was sick of having to drive to the gym through traffic, just for the gym to be so crowded that I usually couldn’t get what I wanted to get done. It took away my family time, friends time, and just my own happiness.

Why have i been so surprised & shocked by these programs? Because, I always had the mind set that to workout I had to be lifting heavy weights, and I had to be in the gym for up to an hour to see results. Nothing against people who do that, but I found out I can see results without having to do those things! I found out I can feel better about myself more than I ever have, just by dedicating 30 min to a workout in my living room. I found out that fitness doesn’t have to suck, or take up all your time. .

I bought candy corn at the grocery store the other day, because it’s one of my fav Halloween candies. I thought I’d be able to control myself but before I knew it I had ate so many that my stomach was hurting 😂😅. .

I tell you this so you know I’m HUMAN too... my nutrition isn’t always on its best game, I’m not always motivated, and I don’t always have it all figured out but I’m trying & giving effort. .

ALSO TRANSFORMATION... if I would have done this a couple months ago I would have allowed this to control my mind, making me think I was horrible and could never succeed in fitness. I beat myself up and had a horrible relationship with food that wasn’t on my “meal plan”. Happy to say that when I do mess up, I don’t beat myself up over it, but realize I’m human and love myself through it instead!

Okay but fr, today I started to get stressed because my day didn’t plan out hour by hour like I planned for it to. I started freaking out thinking in my head “crap now I’m not gunna get to workout” and having the mindset that everything was ruined. .

But then I stopped myself & reminded myself that my program allows me to get my sweat on in 30 MIN! ONLY 30 👏🏼🙈. I took a deep breathe and laughed bc why was I stressing. I don’t have to drag myself to the gym if I don’t have the time, but instead I can do my workout in my living room right before bed, or dinner even!! .
