But in all seriousness, when it rains it pours and I had to evaluate more athletes than ever today, and this little love was SO good.... even when she was destroying my room with the soccer coach 😉😂 so so so love being able to take her with me for a “girls’ night.” I hope she never tires of spending time with her mama!!!

Feeling that #momguilt tonight, because I have been working A LOT of afternoons and evenings, and this one is noticing. I know one day she’ll appreciate all of her daddy and mommy’s hard work, but right now, she just doesn’t understand why we’re not home 100% of the time, and it’s hard. So, tonight I will snuggle her a little tighter, kiss her a little more, and keep working hard on that #sidehustle so my time away from home can be as minimal as possible ♥️

With my birthday coming to a close, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with another year of blessings. The outpouring of love from my family and friends celebrating my special day; all the phone calls, texts, posts and messages sending me happy vibes; and of course the love from these 3 right here- I cant deny how lucky we are.

Yes- our lunch was delicious #cheesecake

Yes- our massages were AMAZING.

But most of all? I am just thankful to spend another year full of light and love because of everyone in my life.

Truth time: I’ve been overeating.🙈🙊

It hasn’t been a full on #bingemode but MORE like “Hey there’s cookies in the house so I’m going to eat them all day long” or “a few chips here and there won’t matter” which turns into wayyyyyyy too many chips. Who can relate??🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

Over the last few weeks I’ve definitely had some #healthy days, but I’ve ALSO purchased peanut butter m&ms, with the intention to eat them AFAP (as fast as possible) so I can ‘get back on track’ tomorrow. Okay, maybe the next day. Or maybe on Monday. 🙄
.
The thing is, I’ve done this before. And it’s not the number on the scale or the little extra mom pooch that bothers me- it’s how I FEEL. I don’t FEEL as good, my energy is lower, and my workouts don’t feel strong either.
.
So, when some client friends of mine reached out struggling with something similar? I snapped it of it and said, “I’VE BEEN THROUGH THIS BEFORE. I KNOW HOW TO BEAT THIS.” And if I don’t whip myself back into a positive healthy mindset for myself...I’ve at least gotta do it to show my clients how it’s done.👊🏼

So here are my top tips to get out of our silly binge cycles:
☝🏼1. Create a FILLING meal plan - this is important so that you don’t find yourself hungry and naturally grabbing for that unhealthy snack. (I can help you with this if you’d like!)
✌🏼2. Still allow yourself treats. I KNOW it’s tempting to say ‘screw the sweets!’ (or whatever your vice is) but doing that will only put you back into a binge/restrict mindset. If you REALLY want that treat, have a little and fully enjoy it.
🤟🏼3. Drink more water 💦 #duh

👊🏼4. Focus on how you FEEL.
When I’m at my worst...I feel defeated, sad, bloated and gross.😣 When I’m at my •best• and making healthy choices I feel GOOD, empowered, alive, healthy & proud!

It’s easy to think that we gained 10lbs after a binge but, #newsflash, we really didn’t. So take the focus OFF of your weight alone and strive for all of those GOOD FEELS, bc that’s •immediate gratification•.🙃

We can make a decision to feel GOOD today based on what we eat; & we can feel good with every choice we make.💕
